The restaurant is a must. Elegant dining with a pianist playing requests. Our waitress, Jeannie, was excellent. The food was outstanding. We got to meet the chef, Paul Crepey, and he was a delight to talk to. My wife had the Hot Brown and I had the Bolognese. Both were delicious. The Striptease Flambe was a great treat along with the Derby pie. We will forever remember the staff and our experience.

The Brown Hotel for my wedding reception was the most special place. The Brown Hotel staff was the most accountable and kind staff. They made my special day absolutely perfect. My guests could not stop raving about the food, wine list, and how accommodating the staff was when asked anything. The Brown Hotel will always hold a special place in my heart and I can't wait to go back there soon.

We had a lovely stay here at The Brown. We made a few stops at the bar for some great drinks, and made a point to order a wonderful breakfast to our room.
This historic Hotel was such a gem and an awesome change compared to your average weekend lodging. Beautiful details and design, and the chandeliers everywhere made me feel like I was transported to the 1920s.
Only negative thing was that the bathroom sink had what looked like toothpaste stains around the counter. I have sort of high expectations for anywhere I stay as far as cleanliness goes. Overall, I would book here again.

This place is filled with history and is beautiful and well kept. It's nice to see that the historical buildings are kept intact a their beauty is preserved. Location is nice as it is walking distance to a lot but having to pay to park is a bit of a put off especially with the price if the stay and their food if you choose to eat there. The food is exceptional. They want you to make reservations even if you are a guest, fortunately they were able to get us a table fine and breakfast and the staff was very attentive. They even offered a box for morning buffet to take some for later knowing the price was steep.
