  this is a nice hotel. room was nice, staff was very friendly, they only got 3 stars because of the restaurant. ok small menu is acceptable, but when you don't have 90 percent of the items on the menu, that's a problem. felt bad for the bartender who just started, so we just did a order of wings and a drink each, just so we can leave her a tip. we ended up going somewhere else for dinner, WHEN YOU DRIVE 12 HOURS AND WANT TO EAT, THE LAST THING YOU DON'T WANT TO DO IS LEAVE WHERE YOU ARE AND GO BACK OUT

  We were in town for a large high school band competition held at the University of Louisville. Our high school band booked at this location and our group alone, with about 150 people including band members, leaders, parents, and siblings, pretty much took over the hotel (in a good way of course)! In a nutshell, everything was excellent! The staff was very well prepared for our large group and anticipated every need. The hotel was in excellent condition and no complaints about our room. Very clean and well stocked. I want to shout out Smitty who is the Assistant GM. He was nothing short of awesome and even engaged with and entertained our youngest son, who is 10 and didn't want to be there, and made sure he felt very involved with everything going on. The restaurant and bar were in great shape, food was really good, and beer was ice cold for the adults late in the evening. While we were only able to road-trip from St. Louis to Louisville, it is very convenient to the airport. Next time we are in Louisville as a family, we will definitely consider staying here again. We will just need a larger room to fit all 5 of us!

  Had a great stay. Rooms were clean. Only ice machine didn't work on two floors.

  The bathroom had a constant loud noise going and none of the outlets on my nightstand worked. One night I rang the front desk bell multiple times waited 10 minutes and no one showed up. We had something come up that required us to leave early we asked to take a night off but add a late check out. We were told that was absolutely agreeable. The next morning we were woke up at 930-check out is at 11. We explained that we were doing a late check out. A few hours later the front desk clerk came up and told us we needed to leave. I have already paid for the room for another night….. the price on my room wasn’t reduced. I was just told we had to leave because the night shift communicated wrong. What company doesn’t honor their word. Had I not already booked for the next day it’d be different. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever received from a hotel. Properly train your staff. Make sure guests, who have already been charged know your policies. We understand game and festival weeks bring a large crowd but treated your paying customers poorly is ridiculous!!!!

  One of the best hotel experiences i have ever had. Check in and out was seamless and service was exceptional. Highly recommend!
