  Super expensive and the rooms are still hot even with the air conditioner. You pay all this money to stay here and you can't even sleep in comfort because the room is hot. I never have to stay here again.

  Great place, clean, very friendly. The location is in the middle of everything you want to see. Held our luggage till check-in and after check-out so we could keep exploring to the last minute. They set up a night tour to all the memorials (12 seater bus was excellent). Wine tasting was nice. I highly recommend and I will return.

  Pro - Close to highway - Pool - Starbucks on-site - the outlets were up to date for your chargers - the beds were okay - nice having a fridge Con - Roach in the tub when I went to the restroom in the middle of the night - The AC was leaking and when we figured it out that it was not water that the kids had spilled, but in fact the AC, it started smelling like mildew. - the fridge kept going out - no microwave, probably a good thing with roaches around I do want to mention that they offered 16K points. However, after returning home the cheapest hotel was 18K.

  This was a beautiful hotel at one time I’m sure but it’s lacking maintenance. On our floor both ice machines didn’t work all week, had to take a trek every night to another floor. The hallways always smell like pot. The bed has to be the most uncomfortable on the planet, after a relaxing vacation we are both exhausted. Moving to a Hilton tonight for our last night of vacation to hopefully get some rest before driving home tomorrow. Toilet paper holder is broken. The maid refilled our coffee pods with all decaf. Who drinks that stuff ! On our first night we had to request our king bed be remade, someone made it with queen bedding turned sideways. Shower and tub were great tho. IHG needs more staff. Also Debbie at the front counter needs to drop the military attitude and smile and be pleasant.

  My stay at the Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport Expo Center was disappointing and fell well below my expectations. The most frustrating part of the experience was check-in. Despite arriving at a normal check-in time, I waited more than 30 minutes to talk to the front desk agent. In all of my travels, I cannot recall another hotel where I have experienced such a long wait to check in. The room itself appeared to have been partially renovated and was generally attractive, but there were several shortcomings. The room was much louder than expected, making it difficult to relax, and the bathroom felt dated. Additionally, the bathroom products seemed watered down and were noticeably below the standard I would expect from a Crowne Plaza property. Another significant issue was the complete lack of luggage carts. I did not see any available during either check-in or check-out and was forced to make multiple trips between my room and vehicle. When I asked about the carts, the response from the front desk was dismissive, with staff blaming other guests for not returning them rather than offering a solution. To be fair, not everything was negative. The bar was enjoyable, and the bartender made an excellent Old Fashioned. Unfortunately, the combination of the lengthy check-in process, lack of luggage carts, noise, and indifferent customer service outweighed the positives. I travel frequently and stay in hotels regularly, and this was one of the more disappointing hotel experiences I have had. I will choose a different property the next time I am in Louisville.
