  We came down for a short stay and everything was less than even okay. When I checked into the hotel, I was greeted by the front desk attendant and we got the room keys and with the reason for our visit, I asked about an extended checkout. I was told that I’d have to ask in the morning because it’s first come first serve (which I thought was a little strange). We were attending a late night event and got back early in the morning to which the front desk attendant was very polite and said “absolutely” and took care of it right there. Rewind to when we got there, we got into the room and the room smelled like it had been smoked in (this also included the hallways and stair cases). This made all of our clothes and luggage smell pretty bad. We opened the windows to air out the room and found that one of the windows the screen was missing and the other the screen was bend up. I booked a queen size bed room and got what felt like a full size bed, one of us ended up sleeping on the pull out because of this. We ended up leaving earlier than planned due to all of this and in very little sleep. I won’t recommend this place to anyone and I won’t stay at this place every again.

  Called for a room at 4:50am and was promptly greeted by Elmer Curtis III. Mr. Curtis III was every bit of professional and helpful getting us a room and accommodating our requests we had. I cannot express how thankful myself and family members were of Mr. Curtis III. We had a very awful experience at a different hotel before calling this location and Mr. Curtis III was immediately ready to help us out anyway he could. I will be using this location again very soon, and hope to run into him again. Forever thankful for this experience in Louisville.

  Be prepared for a parking ticket when you get home. No signage telling you to scan code and staff is oblivious and will not tell you either. According to the General Manager, her staff doesn't have to inform you! Good luck

  I do not recommend this hotel. I understand that the hotel has parking rules, and I respect that. However, at no point was there any clear sign informing guests about the amount of the parking fines that could be charged. The only notice I saw was a paper near the elevator mentioning that vehicles could be towed. When I first checked in, I booked two days and validated my parking. Later, I extended my stay for two more weeks. Unfortunately, no one informed me that the parking validation remained active for only the original two days. As a result, my vehicle accumulated parking fines throughout the additional two weeks, even though I was a paying guest staying at the hotel the entire time. When I tried to discuss the situation with the manager, the front desk employee refused to let me speak with her directly. She went to talk to the manager and came back saying there was nothing they could do. There was no effort to understand the situation or help resolve the issue, despite the fact that I was an active guest of the hotel. English is not my first language, and the parking policy was not clearly explained to me. If the hotel is going to charge guests significant penalties, there should be clear signage showing the amounts and explaining the policy in a transparent way. The lack of communication, the absence of clear information about the fines, and the unwillingness of management to help left me very disappointed. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.
