  I have traveled the world over and stayed in hundreds of hotels. This hotel is absolutely terrible. I booked the room for 2 nights in advance and drove all night to get to the location. If you're trying to reach the front desk "forget about it"....I tried contacting them at least a dozen time and the 800 number would just say they "must be busy". At 230am? Although I was the only person at the counter it took forever to get my room key. When I did I was given the wrong room key. Thank goodness I didn't trying to enter the room before the front clerk said I gave you the wrong key. This gets better.....I extended my stay for the next few days as I was working at the hospital. The location was perfect for the long hours I was working. On my 5th day at the hotel I returned and checked with the front desk to make sure my room key worked. I entered my room and there was a person standing in front of the TV in a towel. They gave my room to someone else and had checked me out during the day for no reason. This could have been a dangerous situation. If you stay at this hotel make sure you lock the door and double lock. I returned to the front desk and I was advised that "I don't know why they checked you out"....I was told the only option was to check back in and with an increase in the charge. Additionally I had to deposit another 50 dollars for incidentals. (I still had not received my first 50 dollars that I deposited initially back) This was the most unorganized hotel I've ever stayed at with ZERO care for customer satisfaction. Be ready because they do not care and the front desk just says "No options". There was ZERO effort to discount the rate or assist with anything....even when I walked into another persons room and was completely embarrassed. Finally, the hotel needs carpet cleaned (filthy) and a number of maintenance issues taken care of. The bed was not comfortable and when my key did work the door would often not shut. The pool was closed more than it was open, and the rear entrance key did not work at night. I was shocked this location had the Holiday Express name and be such a train wreck. Spend a few more dollars and skip the headache and stay at a hotel that will put the customer first.

  2 minutes from UK hospital. Staff was super nice especially Jarvis and Fiorela.

  I don't know how to say it other than...this place is a dump. It's dated, the carpet is stained everywhere, hallways feel 85 degrees and humid, and it wasn't very clean. Worst of all, the Wi-Fi was down the entire time I was there. I will give the front desk staff some credit, they were great...but this hotel is definitely overpriced for what it is. Will not stay here again. If you don't care about the things I complained about, stay there. The location is great and the staff were helpful, but it definitely isn't for me.

  My stay was fine, but when I needed to get a copy of my receipt, it turned into a big ordeal. One employee sent me a blank receipt and then never followed back up with me to send another. I called customer service and they said it would take 48 hours for someone to get back to me. I called the hotel again and spoke with someone different, Shane Sizemore. He took the time to locate my receipt and email it to me. If it wasn’t for him, this would’ve been a two star review. There should be more people like Shane, he understands customer service!
