  This Hotel was a horrible hotel to stay in when we pulled up. Of course the pool was not working, which they did not tell us when we made the reservations. She kept going on about my service dog, which I don’t even have to say anything about even for the incidentals, she said if it’s not a service dog, that’s what that money is for which doesn’t make any sense. I have two dogs and they have badges I travel with them. Also the back door is not even working. They said it was working so we had a hard time accessing our room when I got to the room the floor was completely wet the carpet it was disgusting it Was very low quality for the price will never stay here again.

  Leaving a negative review on the front staff/management. I had an experience where the door jam of my room had been stuffed with toilet paper so that it wouldn't latch. I hadn't noticed it the night I checked in because I checked in late, but found it the next morning when I returned to my room after breakfast and literally pushed the door open with using the key card. I called the front desk and asked if they had cameras and could look into it. When I checked out later that morning, I was told that the cameras weren't pointed in the direction of the rooms and that there was nothing they could see. Next I'm told that only I had an access key to that room and only my key can open the door. Then she proceeds to tell me the staff all said they knew nothing about it and that it could have been my own children messing with the door. Well that just sent me over the edge because 1) I'm not an idiot and know that they can make new key cards at anytime 2) theiving adults will lie so they don't get caught 3) my kids are small and can't mess with the door. I hadn't gone up there to complain or accuse the staff. It could have been the previous guest for all I know. I only wanted hotel staff to be aware of what I had found and maybe they'd have housekeeping check doors to make sure they stayed secured. When I spoke up for myself and my kids, she immediately dismissed me to send me on my way. At the very least she could have said, "I am sorry that happened to you. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. We value our customers and their safety is our top priority." Say that and I would have left feeling good about my safety should I have chosen to stay there again. But instead I left feeling like they got their money out of me and I was nothing more than a nuisance.

  Very disappointing experience. After traveling for about 10 hours, we arrived tired and ready to check in. Despite there being two check-in areas, we weren’t even acknowledged until I approached the desk and greeted the employee myself. I was then told she “doesn’t like to tell guests to move.” A simple acknowledgment that we were standing there waiting would have been basic customer service. Later that night, around 11:50 p.m., guests were outside on the pool deck directly outside our window talking, laughing, and being loud. I called the front desk and was told there was no closing time or quiet time for the deck, but they would ask them to quiet down. Twenty minutes later, nothing had changed. When I called again, I was told there was nothing they could do, but they had complimentary earbuds available. Offering earbuds instead of addressing excessive noise directly outside a guest’s window around midnight is unacceptable. Between the poor service at check-in and the way the noise complaint was handled, I would not recommend this hotel and will be contacting Holiday Inn/IHG corporate about our experience.
