I gave it 4 stars because the pancake machine wasn't set up for breakfast. Our child was disappointed in that. We would stay here again though if we ever visit Ft. Knox again, but please have pancakes next time.

Customer Service: 5/5 This is where this place excels. Beth is in charge. A super kind woman who leads a crew of awesome employees. Cherish is second in command who was super funny when making my "special hamburger." Alyssa shuttles people around all over post who are residents of any of the hotels on post, she was prompt and very professional. Sharmaine is the receptionist who works at the front. She has the best smile, and is a very charismatic young lady who was super helpful in all of my mini requests (I had a lot of them). Sonya is a lovely receptionist at the Holiday Inn on post who is very familiar with all hotel amenities. Thanks to her, I found out about the shuttle, and was able to get around post without a car. Amenities: 5/5 Free food. Beth and Sharmaine informed me that every Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm was social hour with free hamburgers, nachos and fresh cookies at the Holiday Inn. Microwave/mini-frig. You want'em, they got'em! Each room has one. Free coffee and hot chocolate in the reception area. Personal Safe in each room. Personal Mini Keurig Free Breakfast Atmosphere: 3/5 It may not the most luxurious hotel, but the people who serve here more than make up for it. Everyone was so friendly and happy to help. MISC: Rooms are dedicated for pets, if you have them that are separate from other rooms. At the end of the day, the biggest question is, do you get the most bang for your buck? And at 69.75, I feel that answer is a resounding yes.
