  I was traveling for work and didnt get to the area until 11-12 at night at which point I scrambled trying to find a hotel because I hadn't seen anything available the past few days. After maybe an hour of going place to place I called Candlewood and spoke to Afton who was amazing! She was able to help me secure the last available room. Then even after checking in she was able to provide my wife with some recommendations on where to explore and what is good in the area. They say everything happens for a reason and I'm sure glad I was able to find this place!

  Overall seemed like an okay neighborhood. I was disappointed in what was offered for a one night stay - I would recommend somewhere else. Maybe If you plan to stay longer and cook your own food while you’re there, then it would more suited for you — breakfast is not served here. The lobby seemed clean; our room could have been slightly cleaner. Might need to replace knife, in my opinion, as small rust spot. Others may not care too much about these things and that’s s ok, whatever each prefers.

  During our stay, when we awoke, we did so to a large quantity of ants in our room, on the surfaces (side tables, etc...) and in our bags, on our clothing etc... I immediately, upon discovering this, went to the front desk where the lady told me that it was "OK" because she has them in her house too... I can't even make this up... After making a social media post about the situation, I was contacted by IHG, who stated they would investigate. A day or two later they came back with an email stating that I had spilled a sugary soda or had sugary food left out that caused the infestation over night. Well, since I am a fragile diabetic that hasn't had sugary food or drinks in several years, that would have been a complete impossibility, which apparently fell on deaf ears. This only tells me that if that was the case, there was a serious issue with their housekeeping staff. I really didn't appreciate being told that this was my fault... In defense of the lady at the front desk, though, she did say that she would help me out by having somebody spray the room after I checked out... SMH... I would highly NOT recommend! Also, fyi, they only have a single coffee machine in the lobby for all guests... Great if you like to stand in line trying to get a cup of coffee...

  Fantastic experience! Great location at under 10 minutes from CVG airport. Have a very nice workout room and the breakfast was decent. Staff were friendly and the room was clean and nicely setup.

  My flight was diverted here unexpectedly and I had to grab an emergency one-night stay late at night. The room was impeccable - clean, spacious, and super comfortable with nice sheets and pillows and a little kitchenette too. I also want to specifically mention the front desk woman Afton, who was incredibly kind and helpful. She turned a stressful experience into a hassle-free and easy stay, and it’s thanks to her that I’m leaving here with a positive memory. The service at this place is just wonderful and the room is great. I would absolutely come back!
