  Arrived at the property and was not impressed. Pictures on website does not match what I saw. I was highly disappointed that the hotel is in such bad repair. Not what i expected from a holiday inn. This place is in need of an upgrade. The first room air conditioner not working, 2nd room we were given looked like someone had kicked the door down and nor secured at all. I also will like to follow with that the customer service was good..just not the place for me. I ended up booking a place at the Hilton and they did return my my points.i think with a few upgrades this will be a great place to stay because of location

  This was not a pleasant stay at all. We were assigned a room on the 4th floor. The bed was dirty, had stains, and little black dots that we were told were little beetles. We then were switched 5 more times to all different rooms and it was the same situation. The room we settled in was still not up to par and the bathroom was dirty. We then tried to get food at the restaurant, the restaurant ran out of chicken wings and could not serve us. They gave us 2 drink tickets. The bartender was inappropriate and talking about other staff to us as the guests. We were given 2 breakfast tickets that we were not able to use because we were told the wrong time. This hotel is old, dirty, outdated. The manager refuses a refund and was rude on the phone. Do not recommend at all!

  Nice cool room upon entering. Check in was great. We did call ahead and let them know we wouldn't be in till 5am and they worked it out for us just fine, no issue. Just communication and handled. Nice shower pressure here. Gym available. Outdoor pool available. Breakfast for all the guests. Bar as well for drinks afternoon/evening drinks(alcohol bar), pay as you go I believe.

  This place is definitely retro 70’s. I would at least upgrade the lamps on the nightstands to have USB ports as there are probably only a few people left that don’t have smart phones😂. The staff is very friendly and our overnight stay was quiet and comfortable. The only concerning thing I saw (the next morning in daylight) was what looked like mold coming through the paint at the seam of the wall and ceiling above the tv Rm#217. There is fun unique Cart transportation to Riverfront Cincinnati and the charge is “for tips”.

  I had a terrible experience at the Holiday Inn Covington Riverfront and would not recommend staying here. Even though I had a confirmed reservation, they didn't have a room available when I arrived. I ended up waiting for hours before I could finally check in. When I got to my first room, it was absolutely disgusting. There was mold in the bathroom, the mirror had what looked like blood stains on it, and the room clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. The floors throughout the hotel were dirty and looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time. The pool was just as bad. The water was cloudy and had a greasy film floating on the surface, so there was no way I was letting my family swim in it. To make matters worse, the hotel advertises free breakfast online, but when I went to the breakfast buffet the next morning, I was told I needed a voucher and would have to pay $12 without one. That was misleading and very frustrating. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and showed little interest in resolving any of the issues. After spending just one night there, I felt like I needed another shower because the entire experience was so unpleasant. This was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had, and I won't be returning.
