  Staff and breakfast were great. Close enough to the highway. Room just could have been a bit cleaner. Box spring cover was stained and side wall by bathroom was dirty, makeup handprint i think. Had been on the road all day so too tired to request new room. It worked for just a quick overnight.

  My mother and I stayed in a two room suite. The bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly in a while. The bed clothes had stains on them. The lamps have stains on them and the couch in the common area is torn and looks terrible. Definitely not what I expected for what we paid. The gentleman with the long hair working the front desk was very professional and courteous. He recommended a few attractions and places to eat in the area. Not sure if the pool was being repaired or what was going on, but it had no water in it. This hotel is in a great location if you’re looking to do the lost river cave tour.

  The room was great! The beds were comfortable, The breakfast was great, everything was good. I'm leaving this review because the toilet kept making a weird screeching sound that happened for like 10s straight then stopped for 5s and happened again. This happened for the entire stay for when we checked in to when we left. It sounded like it kept getting flushed. Overall it was great but that one toilet sound was so annoying.

  Myself, daughter and 2 grandchildren booked a room here last weekend for s mini vacation. We choose this hotel because the first thing prominently displayed on the website was s beautiful outdoor pool and because of it’s close proximity to the Caves. After a 4.5 hour drive, we were all looking forward to a refreshing dip in the pool and a chance for the kiddos to work off some energy. Boy were we disappointed! After walking through a nasty cloud of smoke at the main entrance, we were then greeted by a sign at the front desk that said, “Helping other guests, will return soon”. Wrong again! “Soon” was close to 30 minutes. I used the long wait to check on my daughter and grandkids who were waiting patiently in a hot car. Then I wandered over to the pool area and to my dismay, , it was empty! My grandkids were going to be so disappointed! I tried to walk back in to the main entrance but it was locked, forcing me to walk all the way around the building past a group of men who were having a great time drinking and partying in the dirty gazebo at 3:00 in the afternoon. I realized that even had the pool been filled, this was not the type of environment I would want my grandchildren to spend the weekend. After telling my daughter about events, I went back through the smokers into the main lobby. Finally there was someone there! I explained to the clerk that we would like to cancel our reservations and receive a refund. I still cannot believe the rude attitude and response I received! Griffin told me in no uncertain terms that I was out of luck. When I asked to speak to his manager, Griffin said all the managers were in an important meeting and couldn’t be disturbed! A meeting at 4:30 on a Friday that was a federal holiday? Highly unlikely. Griffin’s response was that we could cancel Saturday and might get a refund but that we were out of luck for Friday and if we had a problem we could call corporate (he wouldn’t provide number.). With his snarky personality and rude retorts, Griffin is one of the most sarcastic persons I’ve ever met and has definitely reached the pinnacle of his career! We then contacted corporate and after apologizing profusely, informed us that they would let management know about our horrible experience and that we should anticipate a refund. Three hours later we checked in to Best Western Plus and had a wonderful experience at a much better price. T To our utter dismay, we received an email today from said management of Staybridge that no refund would be forthcoming bc we did not give 24 hours notice of cancellation! In closing, we highly advise anyone that wants to feel confident that they’ll have a safe and enjoyable experience..,.DONT BOOK at STAYBRIDGE !!!

  Traveling with a pet without getting bilked is not easy anymore. Motel 6 used to rock , now they all stink. After another hotel i booked online, and even called to ask about fees, wanted a $75 non refundable deposit once I showed up, because they don't know how to use the dictionary. I called stay bridge, Mina picked up the phone and thought that was the stupidest thing she ever heard as well. I drove right over to the room as fast as possible. I had never stayed at a state bridge, and as long as they're all mannered as well.This is a beautiful place and felt so at home.Garbage disposal full refrigerator stove top, dishes and pots.dishwasher, microwave.All you can eat breakfast buffet for 4 hours
