  While they are in the process of renovating, please don't let that stop you from staying here! Even with the ongoing project, the staff is still focused on taking care of the customers. We stayed with our dog and was pleased to see how welcoming all the staff was to her! The room was clean and modern, the bed comfortable. Good selection of food at the complimentary breakfast. There is ample grass around the hotel with a couple of dog statues and a poop bag station for those who forget to bring their own. Very Pet friendly.

  Air Conditioner won't go lower than 68 but felt hotter, I was only able to stand using a sheet and I sleep poorly without a blanket. The remodel looks nice but if you like quiet during the day you won't find it here during the day. The parking lot is too small, and full of potholes. You can hear everything from the hallway because the rooms have hard flooring. And all night you can hear the truckers running up 75.

  The remodel is coming out nice, but if you like Air Conditioning or have a pet, do not stay here. I rented 2 rooms for 3 days for a family funeral and I would not stay here again. My thermostat didn't work with the AC at all, and when you used the controls on the unit it would only run for about 20 minutes at a time. I complained about this, but it took 2 days for them to fix it, and it would only go to 68, but felt more like 72. Too hot for the big fluffy comforter and bed. The water pressure in the shower was bad, and at 4am my room was filled with the smell of coffee that would wake me up. The parking lot is tiny, and completely full at night. I had a dog with me, and I assumed, and was told by staff it was a $50 fee for her to stay, but was charged $50 per night, and that is more than half of the total cost of my room, but that doesn't make any sense because they never cleaned the room I stayed in until I left. Drury is so much better it's laughable.

  Hotel is under construction, and it was advertised at booking. It is a nice hotel with clean rooms, friendly staff, an indoor pool and easy access to the interestate (I75). Breakfast was good, but seating was limited due to advertised construction.

  We stopped here on our way home from spring break, and the new rooms were immaculate and the guest services were exceptional. We checked in late and they were very flexible. The breakfast was one of the best I have had at a hotel in a long time, and that is even with the reality they are hosting it in 2 rooms while the renovate the front lobby. I would target this hotel to stay at again when we are driving through town!
