  Hotel is conveniently located off interstate and I stopped on way from Indy back down south. I was pleased by the new rooms and cleanliness while a renovation of lobby and possibly pool was taking place. As I checked out, I noticed a staff member cleaning exterior room door handles which indicate that the property manager(s) pay great attention to detail which is greatly appreciated. Breakfast was also good and all staff was super friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

  We stopped cause we were tired and couldn't go any further. Arthur was working the desk and he was absolutely amazing. The room was clean, breakfast was tasty, and the price was more than fair. I gotta say, Arthur was great, he had a positive outlook even with my crappy situation, and was ultimately a pleasure to meet. Management should take note on him, he was able to communicate and make eye contact, have conversation, and meet the customer needs. This is not a common thing anymore. He will go far somewhere else if Holiday Inn does not recognize these traits...if I didn't live in another state, I would of done everything in my power to recruit him to work for me.

  We travel with a pet. My family and I do to the pet we have put a do not disturb sign on the door . We came home found someone had been in the room. Trash was emptied, pillows were changed, towels were changed. We asked why someone went in our room with the sign on the door . We were told the front desk had told the cleaning crew that we requested the room be cleaned we did not. A name badge went missing from the table next to the bed. When we asked about it the front desk denied anyone being in the room. The cleaning staff said they were told by the front desk to clean the room. The actual person who cleaned the room admitted to cleaning the room. We were told the manger had a meeting and wouldn't be in until noon . We had to leave to continue our trip . They said he would look into it and call us we never heard anything from management. We called later that day and was told by front desk they looked at the cameras and no one went in that room. When the person who cleaned it admitted they did. The front desk person had a very bad attitude when talking with us about that. We were told when the manger came in they would have someone look in the dumpster for the name badge. They told us not to go looking for it ourselves. That was Saturday when told this it's now Tuesday still haven't heard anything from management at that hotel. I can understand a simple mistake. What is unacceptable it the lack of response from upper management and the complete disregard and flat out don't care about we are missing something from our room that should have never been gone into in the first place.

  I always stay at Holiday Inn Express. It has taken the stress out of my road trips because I know what to expect. And, I accrue points toward free night stays.

  We stopped at this location after a long day of traveling. The outside looked ran down but I read the reviews before hand saying they were renovating. The rooms are all brand new. However, the sink had toothpaste in it from the prior guest. The pillow case had stains on it. The AC unit was loud and the wall thermostats for it didn’t work. It actually has no batteries in it and wasn’t hard wired. All night it was loud from other guests. Apparently they do not have or in force a quiet hour. Highly disappointed in our stay.
