Alright, as usual. Great for budget travel, but if you are looking for amenities, look elsewhere. There is a pool, buy no hot tub or "spa" as there clearly once was. Also, a sign states that no one can be at the pool alone. Not just unattended kids: a single adult cannot pop down for a quick swim while the other parent stays up with the kids for bedtime. I get liability insurance is a beast, but this seriously dampens the enjoyment. There was a popcorn maker with the tailings of a batch, but no new batch was ever popped while we stayed. If you aren't going to have it, put it away, or at least clean it out so as to not give the kids hope.

Overall a decent place to spend a couple of days. We had a few cleanliness issues upon arrival with one of our rooms but made staff aware and were promised points added to our acct for a free nights stay but are waiting on them to be credited at the time of this review. Good breakfast, nice pool, pet friendly.

Deadbolt didn’t lock, Wi-Fi didn’t work, stain on tile that looked like coffee. A/C was cool but ball cap setting in front of it was damp in the AM. Friendly staff. Breakfast was well stocked and warm. Coffee wasn’t bad.

The staff at this location was courteous and helpful. Most of the hotel was in decent, updated condition. The floors in the guest rooms seemed a bit cleaner with hard LVP floors instead of carport. Offering water bottles at the front desk was helpful. The overall condition of the hotel was good. The staff working the breakfast did an excellent job especially Deann. On both Friday night when we arrived and again on Saturday night (after 11PM), the person who was supposed to be covering the front desk had her car parked right in front of the hotel directly in front of the door on the far side. On both nights she sat in her car smoking and watching videos on her phone. This is not a good look for your hotel. Not only is she taking up the closest parking spot to the front door, arriving guest have to smell her cigarette smoke. I can't say for sure how long she was out there, but the fact that she pulled her car up there suggested that she was smoking and watching videos most of the night instead of covering the front desk. Throw out the bed in room 133. The mattress/box springs are totally shot. The bed has no support and even the slightest movement causes a loud sound coming from the springs. These is an IHG wide issue with the pancake machines that are usually broken and out of action for at least 1 or more nights of any a given stay.

The staff was fantastic. The location was a bit away from the restaurants and shops but not far. It's right off the highway but a little ways from the real city of Ashland if that's where you're going. Breakfast was good. There was a popcorn machine, a fresh brew coffee machine, bottled water and cookies in the lobby as well as a market with snacks and drinks for purchase. The floors were a bit dirty, not like they hadn't been cleaned at all. More like they weren't fully cleaned. Lots of stains. The pool was not in service while we were there and we didn't know that before we arrived.
