  The hotel itself was decent, especially considering the surrounding area, which is not the best part of Wichita. Overall, the property appeared reasonably well maintained and the room was comfortable. There were a few issues, though. The toilet in our room was loose, which seemed to create a slight odor in the bathroom and should probably be addressed. I had also requested no housekeeping/service and had the sign on the door, but hotel staff still came to the room multiple times, which was frustrating. Breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. The quality was poor and definitely below what I would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Overall, the hotel was fine and probably one of the better options for that particular area. It wasn't a bad stay, but there are a few maintenance and service issues that could easily be improved.

  Absolutely horrendous experience with this hotel. Would absolutely give it zero stars if I could. When we checked in to this hotel near midnight after a long drive, someone was in our room that had snuck in to the hotel (the room wasn't double booked, the hotel didn't know about this man). We were told there wasn't another room available, and after checking several other nearby hotels realized this was our only option. We were given new linens and remade the beds ourselves. The room and bathroom were not cleaned after this person left. The experience of our actual stay was bad enough, but I have been trying for almost 3 weeks to get a refund from the manager. I have called, emailed, spoken with IHG corporate and have been completely unable to even speak to the manager. I'm not convinced he exists. We have been told the only way to get a refund is to contest the charge with our bank. If anyone at this hotel even remotely cared about customer service and made any attempt to compensate for our awful experience, I would not be leaving this review. Don't stay here. They could not care less about their customers.

  Great place to stay in Wichita! Excellent service from the friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and a wonderful hot breakfast buffet. The indoor pool was a nice bonus. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and cozy hotel

  An unpleasant smell outside, hotel is fine but occasionally you can catch a whiff of unpleasantness in the hallway.
