This hotel is horrible! The rooms are disgusting. Upon check in the room had not been cleaned, the ac unit cover was on the floor, there were dresser drawers missing, and unknown substances on the wall that had not been cleaned. The manager Sally is rude and not friendly at all. Beware, do not stay at this hotel!!!

I had a fantastic experience at this SureStay Best Western in Topeka, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome, very professional, friendly, and always willing to help. That level of hospitality really stood out.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, with everything I needed for both relaxation and productivity. I especially appreciated the attention to cleanliness and the cozy atmosphere, it felt like a home away from home. Many guests highlight the same strengths, noting clean rooms, helpful staff, and a comfortable stay overall.
One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast, which was fresh, satisfying, and a great way to start the day. It’s clear the hotel puts effort into offering value beyond just a place to sleep.
The location is also very convenient, close to key attractions and easy to access, making it ideal whether you’re traveling for business or leisure. On top of that, amenities like the indoor pool, fitness center, and free parking add to the overall convenience and comfort.
What really sets this place apart is the balance of affordability and quality. You’re getting a clean, comfortable, and welcoming hotel experience at a very reasonable price point, which is rare!

Breakfast was really good I stayed a whole 7 days had biscuits and gravy as well as omelette and sausage patties, waffles cereal choices along with juice variety pool was nice and clean , staff was welcoming and super nice great price for the room you receive with tv cable fridge and microwaves.
I am 64, driving 1600 miles with just my non-shedding therapy dog. There was an emergency tornado warning and the closest hotel was this place. I got no discount and was told 222 was the only room. I don’t think that was true. It is on the 2nd floor with no elevator. The room has a very strong odor of urine. I would not let my dog lay on the floor. It was a terrible experience.

Pros: comfortable mattress, newer carpet and accessories, clean sheets, open pool, breakfast as expected, nice enough lobby.
Cons: broken drapes that didn't close all the way, a horrible smell emanating from the uncleaned microwave that made it hard to fall sleep, disgusting dried syrup on the wall, one thin blanket, a loud heating-cooling fan under the window, thin walls, a shower curtain that wouldn't close because the bar was installed incorrectly, a cool hot tub and filthy pool deck. I passed a gentleman on the stairs who warned me to be careful with the railing because he'd just gotten a splinter. The attention to detail was sorely lacking. It was actually the worst room I've visited in 25 years.
