  My recent stay here was, regrettably, one of the most unsatisfactory hotel experiences I have encountered. Over the course of my four-day visit, the room was not serviced on any occasion. Despite two separate requests for room cleaning and trash removal, my request were just ignored by the staff. No one answered the phone whenever I called the front desk and it didn't matter at what time I called. While the financial aspect of this trip was not a personal concern as it was a business expense, the overall customer service was exceptionally poor. It is important to note that the rooms themselves were adequately clean, and the hotel's location was favorable; however, the significant shortcomings in customer service overshadowed these positive attributes. Consequently, I cannot recommend this hotel to others.

  I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years and typically visit about four times a year, so this most recent stay in March was extremely disappointing. The pool area was filthy the entire time we were there and unfortunately unusable because of it. Our room bathroom was also not clean — there was mold around the tub, the shower curtain was dirty, and the bathroom floor clearly had not been cleaned properly. When we checked out, the manager acknowledged the issues and said he would add points to my account because of the condition of the hotel and my frequent stays. Unfortunately, there was never any follow-up and nothing was done. The one bright spot during our stay was the wonderful woman who handles the breakfast area. She is always friendly, attentive, and keeps everything clean and well stocked. She was truly the highlight of the visit.

  This is a very great Hotel you will enjoy staying at. The rooms are very clean and their customer service is 2nd to none. I managed to drop my car keys while getting out of the elevator. They landed perfectly in the gap and fell to the bottom of the shaft. The hotel workers and the managers went out of their way to fish my keys out. I can't say thank you enough!! David

  I have been working in Topeka Ks for the last 9 months going home on the weekends. When I first came here I stayed in 3 different motels. I typically don't care where I stay as long as the beds are comfortable. I switched motels on January 6th to the Holiday Inn Express and haven't went anywhere else. The rooms are cozy and so comfortable. The staff is top notch!! The GM Dev has always been helpful. I don't know my way around Topeka, but Dev and his staff are always so helpful. Head of housekeeping Eva has always been more then helpful asking how my room is and if there is anything I need. Some weeks I dread having to go to Topeka to work, but staying at the Holiday Inn Express has made it so inviting!! I highly recommend this motel!!

  Absolutely unacceptable experience. The hot water in our room did not work during our stay, and despite multiple complaints to management, nothing was properly resolved. To make matters worse, there were ants throughout the room. When we addressed the issue, Manager Dave was extremely unprofessional and basically acted like once it became a hotel problem, it somehow became the customer’s problem instead of taking responsibility. He even made accusations that we somehow brought the ants into the room ourselves, while also admitting they were already dealing with a pest issue. Customer service from management was terrible, dismissive, and unhelpful. The only positive part of this stay was Tara at the front desk, who was very kind, professional, and the only person who seemed to genuinely care about helping guests. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would never recommend staying here.
