  Dingy/dirty looking lobby. Not a very friendly, not attentive front desk. Very musty & moldy smelling in the lobby. Did not even make it to the room. Spent 2 hours on the phone arguing for a refund. Moved to a better Holiday Inn Express a few miles away. This one, unfortunately is not reflective of the brand we are used to. This place either needs a complete overhaul/remodel, or just simply close down/demolition.

  Worst IHG experience ever! Bugs in bed, hair in bathroomand and event for children being held in an event space leaving children running the halls all night and obstructing the 1 working elevator! Had to call for 5 days to reach a manager and still no acknowledgment! Handed 25,000 points and expected to shut up. It’s not always about a refund or compensation. Its acknowledgment and accountability that this location lacks significantly!

  Well I didn’t want to have to write this but IHG is refusing to make anything right, so here we are. We travel quite a bit for my daughter’s softball and that brought us to this location this weekend. We figured that it being a Holiday Inn, we would get Holiday Inn quality, boy were we wrong. When we arrived, the grass was overgrown outside, should have been the first red flag. It only got worse. Our room AC was set to 50 when we got there and it was SO COLD! It was also very moist, that’s the only word i can use to describe it. The linens were damp, the carpet was wet, there was condensation on every surface, even the mirrors were fogged up. We adjusted the air and decided to leave for dinner and hope that when we returned, things would be better. We got back to the hotel about 9:30pm and nothing had gotten better, it was actually worse. We decided to call the front desk to ask to be moved to a different room. They moved us to another room but it wasn’t any better. The WHOLE HOTEL was humid, musty and it made everything damp. We decided since it was 11pm by then that we would tough it out and leave in the morning. They told us breakfast was at 7am which was great because my daughter needed to be at the fields at 7:30 for her game so we made sure to be downstairs a few before 7 so she could get breakfast. By 7:15, breakfast still hadn’t been put out with several people waiting. The whole experience was terrible and IHG is only offering free points that don’t even cover a nights stay. We won’t be staying at a holiday inn again.

  Overall the hotel was pleasant. The guest room and bathroom were fine. However, the elevators broke down and and because of our mobility issues we were required to change rooms. Fortunately LaTonya at reception came to our rescue! She made the stay worth while. Also, a shout out to the gentleman who handled the breakfast crowd with such friendly skill! I definitely ranked the stay based on our experience with these staff members.

  When we entered our room 228, the air conditioner was running on high, and the room was extremely cold, damp, and humid. Almost immediately, we noticed a strong moldy odor that remained throughout the entire night. The room felt damp and unhealthy, making it impossible to relax or get a good night's sleep. We also observed visible moisture on the ceiling near the front door of our room, which raised additional concerns about water damage or a possible moisture problem contributing to the moldy odor. The conditions in the room were unacceptable. A room with a persistent moldy smell, excessive humidity, and visible signs of moisture should not be rented to guests. We chose to stay at a Holiday Inn because we expected a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained room, but this experience fell far below those expectations. We hope the Holiday Inn staff will thoroughly investigate this issue, inspect the room for mold and moisture damage, and take the necessary corrective action so future guests do not have the same experience.
