  Room is great, it is clean, the bed is super comfy. The area is very busy but this hotel sits farther down a road so it is much less traffic out front which is quite nice.

  Don’t booked this hotel n it fraud:: We Booked hotel inn express Salina for pool & hot tub but hotel says they have NO pool and no hot tub access. Room smelled bad. Paid $856/night for just gym. False advertising. Avoid Holiday Inn Express Salinas.when we asked staff about pool than she said it third party false advertisement but later we found pool but it was closed n no one is allowed there. So sad and we lost $856 for one night. We regret for not booking other hotel.

  I stayed here for 1 night with a buddy on our way thru from Loveland CO on motorcycles, checked in at 10 pm, headed up to room 312, keys did not open it, had to go back down and have him reprogram them, they worked second time. After eating breakfast the next morning, went back to our room to load up luggage and check out, once again keys did not work. Back down on the only elevator they had, 1 elevator for 4 floors??? Front desk lady asked me what room, I said 210 and without asking me my name or for any identity she programmed our keys for that room........REALLY? That is a big security breach not asking for identity or name........management needs to train staff better. Room was good, 2 queen beds, AC worked good, bathroom nice, breakfast okay, typical...........location down the frontage road from a truck stop so it's beat up.

  The hotel had flies in the main breakfast gathering area, and in our room. Our room was extremely musty and humid.

  This is more like a Comfort Inn. I see the reviews about how clean it is, but it was a trash can the night we stayed there. I've stayed there last year, and remembered after I got there this year that it was a trash can then as well but I forgot to review it. I'm doing this so that I remember to stay elsewhere next time. The regular Holiday Inn on the South end of town is MUCH nicer. The one thing about this hotel that is good is that the beds are 5 star comfy. Otherwise, the rooms smell, the hallway smells, the breakfast is terrible, and they let people smoke right outside the lobby doors so you don't have a choice but to walk thru it. (I don't care that people smoke - just get them far away from the entrances. It's also interesting that we stayed at a Hilton Garden in the next night for $10 less, and it was immaculate! One of the worst HIE I've ever stayed, and now I'll have my review here to remind me.
