  The gentleman at the front desk with the tattoos and piercings was very friendly and delightful to deal with :) The room pretty damp. And musty smelling unfortunately… Staying for one night on my way to Oklahoma with my Frenchie for surgery.

  BW Salina is in the middle of an upgrade and other repairs as of 6/726. Quiet and clean but some rooms are not available.

  Spacious room. Clean. Comfortable bed. Great entrance to the hotel with iced tea, pretzels and lemon water. I was impressed with the check in area and good sized room. There was plenty of parking.

  Hotel is under renovation. We didn't know that when we booked it. The guys were working in the wing we were in. I think they were as surprised to see us and we were to navigate through all their stuff. They were friendly and quickly made space for us to get through and even offered to help. Room was recently renovated. . . still had a bit that needed done in our room. A couple light fixtures were missing. The ceiling fan was on high and the chain was only a couple inches long. There is no shelf, or handle, in the shower, no place to lay the soap! There is also something missing, there's a hole with some plumbing or something exposed. The toilet was dirty. The. Staff was friendly, breakfast included some yummy burritos and the coffee was very good! Thank you

  I was coming from Oregon, missed my flight in Denver and ended up taking the bus to Salina. I had made a reservation at the super 8 hotel but the bus dropped off way earlier than check in the man at the desk literally kicked me out of the hotel and told me I could not wait there and told me not come back until check in. Of course I told him to cancel my reservation. I went on line made a reservation across the street with best western. When I went in and explained to them I made a reservation and know that I am way early to check in they said no problem. They allowed me to wait in the lobby, they even insisted that I eat breakfast. They looked up my room type so they could get it ready ASAP. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. I was not treated like just a guest, they all treated me like they would one of their own family members. I don't right reviews very often but I wrote 2 today. One of them was a terrible one that I was embarrassed to even right it. The other was this one. This entire hotel and staff deserve more than 5 stars the deserve recognition for how professional and kind they all are here. They will never just how much I appreciated them all. Thank you all so very much.
