Best Western Wichita North Review Best Western Park City Wichita North is one of those venues that works surprisingly well for casual receptions, reunions, community events, smaller weddings, and budget-conscious gatherings. While it’s primarily known as a hotel property, the event space flexibility and convenient north Wichita location make it a practical option for a variety of events. One of the venue’s biggest strengths is functionality. The property offers multiple gathering areas and flexible room setups that can accommodate everything from business meetings to receptions and social events. For clients focused more on guest convenience and affordability than luxury styling, it checks a lot of important boxes. The atmosphere leans more casual and comfortable than upscale ballroom, but that can actually work in its favor for relaxed events. The indoor courtyard-style setup, pool area, and open common spaces create a unique environment compared to more traditional hotel venues. Over the years, the property has hosted everything from expos and banquets to private parties and entertainment events throughout the Wichita area. From a DJ and entertainment standpoint, the venue layout can work well for receptions and social events because guests naturally spread throughout the property while still staying connected to the main event space. Parking and hotel accommodations are also convenient for out-of-town guests, which adds value for weddings and larger gatherings. Overall, Best Western Park City Wichita North is best suited for clients wanting an affordable, flexible, and practical event location with lodging included. It may not compete with Wichita’s luxury venues in terms of aesthetics, but it offers solid versatility and convenience for many types of events. I came out for my son's graduation and had never stayed wichita before. I chose best western park city , wichita , north , and I was so pleased. They had a full breakfast and it was good. The accommodated me in every area that I needed their help. Everything was clean, rooms were nice, quiet surroundings. I will definitely stay here again.

The desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was modern and clean and I appreciated the extra room darkening shade on the window. Breakfast was excellent with nicely scrambled eggs, flavorful sausage, pancake maker, biscuits and gravy and many other choices. Even the cleaning staff seemed happy and friendly. There was a Taco Bell in walking distance (my guilty pleasure) along with other restaurants. The price was reasonable for the quality of the stay. This is my new favorite place to stay in the Wichita area.

This was one of the worst Best Western hotels I’ve stayed at. This hotel has many issues. The pros: This location is immaculately clean. The blackout curtains and A/C work well, large fridge and microwave, make up mirror. The bed is fairly comfortable and linens are decent quality. The pillows and the towels were pretty good. Right off the interstate Close to fast food/ restaurants and a store. Con’s: You are watched 24/7. They watch the cameras every second of the day, cameras are everywhere! I know all hotels have cameras but this was excessive. It felt like you are under a microscope. No room cleaning unless you ask 24 hours in advance No new towels unless you bring your own dirty towels down the check in counter to exchange them! Yuk! Very little hot water in shower. If you read comments it’s been an issue they haven’t fixed. I believe it’s on purpose to limit shower times and water usage! Like clockwork after 5 ish min the shower starts getting cold and then slightly warm. If the maids clean the room next to yours or someone else showers next door your shower is ice cold. The bathtub in all the rooms is installed backwards. So water from the faucet hits the angled end causing water to leak out on the floor. I could see if one bathroom had a tub accidentally installed that way, but in all the bathrooms they are installed backwards. I stayed in three different rooms and each one the tub was installed incorrectly. I believe this is on purpose by the owner to make it very difficult to take a bath. A child could still take a bath, but an adult is not able to lay down in the bath. Scott toilet paper, scratchy and horrible! Cheap Amazon facial tissue is rough. Best western usually had nice soft toilet paper and tissues. Not here. The showerhead is horrible. It’s a very low flow shower head. So instead of taking a fast 5 minute shower. It took me 30 min because there was very little water to rinse my hair. The bed bases they use are cheap looking and not what you’d usually see at a best Western. They were very stable though. Staff goes around nocking on the door to see who checked out at 7:30- 8:30 in the morning! Check out time is 11 and waking up customers before that is very rude! Especially when the hotel room was extended. They knew a few days and the morning of that it was extended. The front desk guy also records on a voice recorder room info, customer info etc after speaking with him. So for him to randomly nock on doors is ridiculous! They should have an accurate list and not bother customers before check out time. There is no excuse for him to not know who did or didn’t check out! The same morning the room was extended the maid just walked in! She barely nocked and I didn’t even have enough time to make it to the door before she barged in! Breakfast is not very good. The eggs are made incorrectly. They were tiny balls of egg mixed with bigger chucks. The pan had a layer of water on the bottom. It looked really awful and from other comments they are always like that. Everything but the eggs looked okay for hotel food. They had yogurt machine and a topping station with almost empty containers. There was some mini Muffins and I believe a pancake machine. It wasn’t like a normal best western breakfast. There was no other pastries/ breads. No hard boiled eggs. There was no yogurt cups. There was no cold cereal and milk or even oatmeal packets. It was very very basic. The pool look like it had film on the top. The water looked a little hazy. The TV does not tilt and sits flat against the wall. If you have a room with 2 queen beds, it can be hard to see. In conclusion: The entire hotel was a very clean, but Temu quality. The room, the breakfast the entire experience all felt very cheap. Rooms have fake linoleum hardwood that looks cheap and not what you usually find at Best Western. If you’re only gonna stay one night it might not be bad but if you were gonna stay any longer. I would not recommend. The owner is more interested in saving money than guest experience.
