- CHChristina HockerMay 7, 20265.0I cannot say enough about our stay at Staybridge last weekend. It was my mom's 70th birthday and since we have family on both sides of the state, we decided to celebrate in Columbia. With so many of us, they accommodated our request to have our rooms in close proximity and called me prior to our arrival so they new who to expect. We did tell them it was her birthday, so John (front desk), and the head of housekeeping, stopped by our room to deliver flowers to her. I visit Columbia often for work and to visit my children who go to Mizzou, I'll be staying at Staybridge more often.

They provide free breakfast in the mornings and Monday through Wednesday dinner as well. The rooms are spacious with kings size beds that make me not want to get up in the morning. This is a great location that you should not pass up if you are in the area.

The last thing anyone should have to deal with in a situation like that is poor customer service, but unfortunately, that’s exactly what we experienced at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, there was a lack of professionalism and urgency. Simple requests were met with attitude, and there was no effort made to accommodate guests. The overall experience felt disorganized and unwelcoming. After such a long drive and everything going on, this experience was extremely disappointing. I would strongly reconsider staying here if you expect a reasonable level of service. We book our way at the Embassy in Olathe and their customer service was excellent.

General Manager Melissa, and the front desk staff, Kleisy, Candy, and Stuart. It's been a really wonderful experience and I thank all of the staff for being AWESOME.
