The reason I only gave one star for service is because of one bartender they have working there. So here is my story. I've stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past few years. Every time I stay here everything is pretty darn good. Unfortunately a few weeks back I had an incident with their bartender who according to him has worked here for 11 years. They have a patio outside their bar/restaurant the same as most other hotels that have a bar do. Most nights that I stay here it's no issue to go out the back door to the patio. But this one certain bartender who thinks he must own the place tells me every time that I can't use this door. Keep in mind over the past few years I have seen the staff go in and out this door numerous times to deliver food to customers. But this bartender who thinks he owns the place says that it lets too many flies in. Keep in mind every other Hotel I stay at with a bar does not have a double door area that goes to the patio it's just a single door the same as this hotel. So I have not stayed here for a few weeks. I come back last night for the first time in a while and what do I see on the door to the patio? A sign that says emergency exit only please do not use. So obviously after my last visit and confrontation with that bartender who thinks he is the owner the hotel management decided to take his side instead of a Diamond Elite customer with half a million points. Just seems odd to me. I've wored in the customer service industry for nearly 40 years and I thought the customer was normally right. Apparently this hotel values the opinion of a bartender over a customer that spends thousands of dollars per year at IHG hotels. I'll continue to stay at this hotel because I like everyone else that works here and the area of town it's in. Unfortunately they will get no bar/restaurant business from me on the nights that their owner/bartender is working. I also find it curious that after the first incident with the bartender a few weeks back no one even took the time to call and talk to me about it.

Stayed here and.... Eh. They Said that they saw me with a dog and tried to charge me when my dog was literally at home. Check-In was very easy and they were friendly but check out the lady was a nightmare. Trying to overcharge my girlfriend. Was just rude and not happy, ended up making my girlfriend cry. And I'll add that you know.

The front entrance of the hotel was very nice, however when we got to our room, you could tell they were trying to cover up the smell of smoke. The bathroom didn’t have a fan, it was dated and overall disappointing. We wouldn’t stay again

All the staff were exceptional. Sheila in the restaurant is a Gem. Chuck in catering was wonderful to work with. 1 more person that seemed to handle so much was great. I am so sorry I don't recall his name.
