  It's close to everything you want, service is very friendly, but housekeeping is not so good. At first glance everything seemed fine other than occasional smudges on walls. After my shower I went to pull the blankets back and stepped on crumbly stuff. There were multiple bits of food and a toe nail clipping right next to the bed that could have easily been picked up by a vacuum if it had been properly done. Also gave me three towels and only one washcloth. It was just me, but I usually like to set my toothbrush on a washcloth to dry. I also worry that such odd discrepancies may be blamed on guests. I assure you, I can get much better washcloths at Costco.

  First the the pool heat is out, the hot tub is out of service then the elevator is also out of service. Ice machine is dripping missing the drain and making a mess. M key card just stopped working. Kinda wondering whats up here. Probably time to give the old place a proper tune up. Doesn't leave a lot left for reasons to stay here.

  It's not bad. Front counter service was very polite and accommodating, esp since they let me check in a couple hours early. Cleanliness is meh. There were a couple fingernail clippings on my bathroom sink and some hair in the shower, and there was a lot of dust on various surfaces, including the coffee maker like my room hadn't been used or cleaned for awhile. Also the alarm clock was 20 mins behind for some reason. Breakfast tasted decent, and I usually hate hotel breakfasts. My only gripes were no bacon and it seemed the pancake maker hadn't been loaded with batter because I tried to use it and instead of just making a pancake (as per the instructions), it asked for a load quantity. Otherwise, the bed was insanely comfortable, walls were pretty good with sound-proofing, wifi was okay, and building layout was easy to navigate. Pretty good stay for budget.

  I completed a 900 mile drive to Hutchison KS. I called ahead to specifically ask if the HOT TUB was working and usable before I agreed to rent a room for the night. Man at front desk says YES the hot tub is up is good to go and ready for use. I pay more than a hundred for the room, go to dinner. Then I change into shorts only to step into an ice cold hot tub. I told clerk it was not working, he says it was earlier, well now its 9pm and no its definitely not working like the clerk said. Its time for a partial refund or some compensation since I was lied too. The next time I rent a room, it won't be here until they make this right. Any hotel from here on out will not get my payment until I verify their hit tub is working before I rent a room. I will not be lied to and taken advantage of again. I'll give them 5 stars only after I hear from someone thats responsible.

  All I know is BED BUGS! I checked in alittle after 8pm. Me, my wife, and kids had attempted to get in the room at first, no luck the key cards didnt work. Firstly had to go back and get this fixed, took approximately 15 minutes just to do that. Secondly we finally get into the room and my wife immediately identifies that there is a bug on her pillow, it was a single bed bug. Took that one and threw it away because it seemed dead. Did a check on the mattresses and pillows and didnt identify anything further. Told the kids and wife we should be good. We're just beginning to bed down when my wife freaks out and jumps out of bed. MORE BED BUGS!!! This time they were on the pillow, the bed, the floor, and the walls. No idea where they came from but by 9:15 we were out the door. Absolutely NOT! Will never use another Holiday Inn bc of this. Then they wanna argue about giving me a refund. I will say Gavin the front desk associate was very understanding and deserves a reward for his understanding and professionalism through the entire issue.
