- NANitin Aher1 day ago5.0The hotel exudes old world charm and grace. The breakfast room is stunning with a fantastic chandelier. The bar area is a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink. It’s in a great central location and reasonably priced with a midday check out which was appreciated. The gym is well equipped and spacious. What let the hotel down for us was our paid upgrade to the Windsor room on level 8. While the room was spacious and comfortable, the noise from the vending machine on the opposite wall to the bedroom gave a constant thud at all hours. The noise of slamming doors from 4.30am that reverberated throughout the corridor was also very annoying. I’m a fairly heavy sleeper so would be even worse for those sensitive to noise. In fairness it is an old hotel so soundproofing would be limited.

Didn’t get that cold at the lowest setting. Didn’t use their WiFi. Mattress was soft and comfortable. Pillows are always the perk at Holidays. Cheap, thin shower towels. Shower was hot but inconsistent with temp and pressure. Good size tv. I generally like a larger room or the largest rm the hotel offers. No issues. Just a bit small of a room. I’m going to check out Best Western (I know) and Towneplace. For a similar rate, reviews are better and larger rooms.

This morning at breakfast before we left we had the most amazing woman as the attendant. Dina was friendly and kept checking on us. Overheard her chatting with other guests as she cleaned. A single lady had her hands full and I’m pretty sure she helped her carry her food and drinks back to her room. This will remain our choice when we travel to Colorado as a good halfway point.
