  ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ I recently rented the conference room at Holiday Inn Express & Suites East Wichita I-35 Andover for my Uplift & Shine Boutique 5-Year Celebration. While the room itself was warmer than expected and the air conditioning needs attention, I want to recognize the outstanding staff for their exceptional service. Every employee I interacted with was friendly, professional, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our event successful. When the temperature became an issue, the staff did everything within their control to help and were responsive to our concerns throughout the event. Because of the excellent customer service we received, I would absolutely consider renting this location again in the future. The staff turned what could have been a frustrating situation into a positive experience through their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist. Thank you to the team for helping make our 5-year celebration special. I hope the air conditioning issue can be resolved, as the employees truly deserve recognition for the outstanding job they do. Management you are doing a wonderful job! Thank you all again.

  This was our second time staying here. The first time wasn't terrible. You can tell it's an older hotel. The beds are bad. It's constantly musty. But, not the worst hotel I've been too, yet. The second time, it has officially been one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. The room was damp, the bathtub had rust and holes, the bathroom door was peeling away from moisture, there was mold, the tile and paint were peeling away, there was hair on the floor, and food in the fridge. Housekeeping basically just put clean sheets on the bed and new towels in the bathroom and moved on.

  Very disappointed with the condition of this room. While everything technically functions, the room appears to have been poorly maintained and was not cleaned to an acceptable standard before our arrival. There were multiple clumps of hair stuck to the walls and additional hair in the shower area, stains on the curtains, and in the bathroom which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. Beyond that, there are stains and marks throughout the room, damaged doors with chipped paint exposing the material underneath, poorly installed or unfinished trim, damaged baseboards, loose pieces of molding left in the room, and what looks like unfinished repair work throughout. The overall impression is that the room was hastily put together with little attention to detail. One of the most frustrating design issues is the bedside lighting and broken toilet. The only way to turn the lights off is by using the bedside extension switch, but doing so also cuts power to the outlets, meaning you can’t charge your phone overnight without leaving the lights on. For the price paid, this room falls well below reasonable expectations for cleanliness and maintenance. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it in its current condition. I even emailed management a week ago during our stay and no response.
