  Unfortunately the bathroom shower needed repair. Numerous cracks, mold. Walking to the buffet through the meeting rooms area was a dead cockroach. The buffet muffins and English muffins were dried out. The room was cleaned and sheets changed only upon request.

  The hotel is very comfortable, but the staff at this location is the real star! From front desk to housekeeping to breakfast buffet, every staff member greeted me with a warm smile and welcome and went out of their way to accommodate my needs. Kudos to management! Laundry machines require quarters (front desk is happy to exchange). Fitness center is well equipped for a basic workout routine. Small snack and sundries area opposite front desk. Onsite restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced.

  So they require a deposit of which is fine. However, first I was told 5-7 days for a refund by the front desk clerk upon checkin. Today, 5 days later, I'm told again 5-7 days by another front desk clerk. I phoned again to get a receipt and told by the general manager (she says) they do not give receipts because it's just "a hold". And it takes anywhere from 5- 15 days for a refund. Whether it's a hold or not you have a customers money in limbo. It's utterly unprofessional & ridiculous that between the bank & hotel holds your money like this. One says its the other. I've never stayed at a hotel and it took more than 3 days for my deposit to be returned. It's not that I need it right away but it is my money & I want returned to me what's mines. They certainly don't waste their time taking it from your bank account. There service I'd rate a 5, but this deposit refund issue just lowered that score.

  Truly so disappointed and shocked by this hotel especially with it being the holiday inn. We are local and decided to stay here because our power went out and we have a small child. We checked in at 10 o’clock at night and had to change your rooms right after we unpacked all of our things because they have BEDBUGS. We were not asked if we wanted a refund, but were given a new room instead. The room was right across from the other room, so it didn’t make me feel very good about that room not having them either. Low and behold it did. We ended up just wasting our money and leaving to go stay at home with no power instead of the risk of bringing bedbugs home with us.

  A single mom taking a very rare couple of days off from work to let the children play and swim in the pool. I don't have money lying around, but thought this would be so fun for them. While the pool is beautiful, it is FREEZING cold!!? Why don't you have the heater on? I went online and looked at the reviews, and many of them are complaining about the non-heated freezing cold pool too. No one is in it. What a bummer. I feel so badly having spent this kind of money and the "main event" is ruined.
