  I must give a shout out to this young man that works at this hotel. I went to get some ice from the ice machine and notice him cleaning it on his knees and when I say cleaning I mean military GI party cleaning for it was spotless detail that I was afraid to get ice it was so clean. I found out his name is Raymond. I went to the second floor by mistake and notice him cleaning that ice machine just as detailed as the one he just cleaned on the 3rd floor. I know to so many people this might not seem important, but for a person who has spent 260 days a year in hotel rooms because of my job, I have seen horrible ice machines in different hotels to include Holiday Inn which cause you to think twice about getting ice. I thank Raymond tremendously for his dedication and detailed cleaning on those ice machines and I must add is a very respectful and kind young man. I give Raymond a ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  When we arrived, Gretchen was wonderful. My significant other had been stressed, but she was so helpful that it turned that around. The room has been great, breakfasts have been amazing, wonderful food choices nearby, friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful! We look forward to coming back. ...oh and the pool looks AMAZING! I'll have to try it soon. 😁

  DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL been staying here for some time property manager decides that what I’m doing is sketchy although I haven’t done anything and decides to question me about personal manners, including where I live. Property manager is a joke would never stay here again due to the poor management redhead that apparently runs place

  DO NOT STAY! Second visit to this hotel and alot has changed in the years that passed. Dropped my stuff in a hot room and set ac to 66 to cool it down and went to dinner. Came back and room was still hot. Found ac was just making a lot of noise but not really blowing. Called down to front desk and the hotel was sold out so I could not be moved. I asked if fans were available and they delivered them to the room. When I went to close the curtains I found the floor was soaked beneath the ac. When I turned on the bed lamps I could now see the ceiling had black mold covering a large section. I immediately packed up and went to the front desk. I left the hotel and found a different place to stay.

  My wife and 1year old moved to the Holiday Inn Terre Haute from another hotel in the area because of a strong smoke smell, expecting this to be a better experience. Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. To be fair, the customer service was very good. Ruby at the front desk was professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful, and she was one of the few positive parts of the experience. The location itself was also convenient and fine for our needs. Unfortunately, the condition and cleanliness of the room we were assigned were completely unacceptable. The room appeared as though it had not received a proper quality or housekeeping inspection before being given to us. Upon arrival, we found what appeared to be blood on one of the pillows, hair in the shower/tub area, clothing left underneath the bed, sticky carpet, and general dirt and debris throughout the room. The most concerning issue was the apparent lack of a basic room inspection. These were not minor details that could easily be overlooked, they were conditions that should have been identified and corrected before the room was assigned to a guest. Although the front desk staff, was helpful when we raised our concerns and cleaned the room, the overall condition of the room and experience was bad enough that we ultimately decided to leave and move to another hotel the following day. The staff's customer service deserves recognition, but the housekeeping and quality control standards need significant improvement. We requested a reinbursement, and their front desk response was not of an organization that takes accountability and respects the experience of their guests. A guest should not have to inspect a room for basic cleanliness and find things like apparent blood, hair, clothing under the bed, and general dirt immediately upon arrival, and should not have to wait to see what is determined to receive a reimbursement. In any case, we are not expecting the reimbursement.
