  Room was very "musty" smelling and pool was not operating during entire 4 day stay. Breakfast was not as hot and fresh as preferred at 645am. Kitchen opened at 630am. When I called to make reservations, they told me $230 per night when website stated $161 per night. I told them price would not work, they dropped it to $159 per night. Feel like they tried to scam me.

  Hotel seems very nice, will be staying 2 nights and are into our 2nd day. The main areas as well as the room have been recently updated as things are clean and fresh. I did what to point out something that other guests should be aware of. Shortly after I checked in at the from desk I noticed a $10 charge to my credit card on file. This morning I enquired and was told that there is a $5 per day convenience fee. I politely said I wasn't going to pay it, they removed it. A hotel doesn't get to just add random fees (after the fact) to the bill. Not sure if this is specific to this hotel, Holiday Inn's, IHG properties, etc. As noted the charge was resolved however the bigger issue is that it wasn't disclosed just a surprise charge, obviously this isn't a proper way to handle. Make the rate the rate.

  Nice hotel and clean rooms NO BUGS or smell, only the beds seem a little hard. If you're thinking of checking the three hotels over in Rochester don't they're terrible it's worth the 20 minute drive to Plymouth staying here
