I don't know why. I just feel that I've been deceived. Here. I thought I was booking into a Holiday inn where I've stayed many times before. Only to find out it's got some type of no name such as Muncie place, hotel and suites. Not really quite sure that name is very catchy. They build a new holiday inn Express down the road. Wished I'd known that I would have stayed there. Instead. They did let me see the room before we booked in but if we wanted to back out they were going to charge us one night stay. Anyway. Can't say that I will stay there again, although the person behind the counter. I believe the individual's name is Alex was very kind. Also, they didn't form me that the pool was not in use.

I have to say. Im a long time stay (more than a month) here for work. These people are the first responders of the hospitality industry. They keep us first responders in the lap of luxury. Its the southern comfort in the midwest. Lacy the GM ensures all guests are well cared for. Dabina, Mia, Jenny and Lesia are ( the front desk, actually Lesia is the sales director) make sure you are as comfortable as when you are at home. Weather its extra towels or tissue or the need to freeze your lunch ice block every night. Day after day. Jalinna is the morning chief that understands that sometimes our start times don’t exactly aline with the breakfast start times, often opens up early so we can get a quick hot meal before work. Yi toa who services the room. Often invites guests to eat dinner with her, which she has carefully prepared for special guests. Hospitality at its finest. And lets not forget Jarod, Shy old school boy who works the front desk that greets you upon check in. With a soft demeanor and a smile. The only negative thing In can say about the Holiday Inn in Muncie…. Is they cant control the weather. ButI was disappointed when the power went out and there was no back up Generators to run medical devices when guests sleep. I would definitely recommend this IHG hotel. As i am a diamond member. I only live 12 days a month at home. The rest is with these fine workers. In fact. Out of all the hotels… i feel the closest to family with them. I will miss you all. Ty all for a pleasurable stay. Check-in experience:
We had a very good stay at the Muncie Place Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff greeted us warmly, completed check-in quickly, and were consistently helpful with directions and local dining suggestions throughout our visit. The hotel was very clean, with spotless common areas and rooms, and there was a noticeable fresh, well-maintained scent in the lobby and hallways. Room and value:
I had paid for the suite. I believe our room was actually cheaper than the regular rooms, likely due to a promotion, but either way it was really well worth it. The spacious “living room area” was separated from the bed in a fairly large room. Additionally, they had two TVs, which was great! Breakfast:
Breakfast was a selection of omelettes, cereal, and juice, and it was very nice. The breakfast area looked clean which is so appreciated, and you could tell the staff put a lot of hard work into it. Keep up the great work! Minor issue resolution:
There was a small misunderstanding regarding our room and the fact that we were staying an additional night. It appeared as though the room might have been vacant, so a member of staff came up to clarify the situation with us. It was quickly sorted out and was no one’s fault. For any future longer stays, I would recommend booking the extra night in advance and checking in with the front desk just to make sure everything is properly noted. This is a place I would absolutely come back to without hesitation. Overall impression:
Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel! Thank you! The pool wasn’t open, so if you want to use it, you might want to call the hotel in advance to check in with the staff and make sure it’s open.

Hotel and room very nice, clean, quiet and affordable. Conveniently located to shopping,, highway, university, and restaurants. The staff was great, friendly, courteous, and helpful. They asked several times if anything was needed. The breakfast is a quick pick-up, with a nice variety. Perfect stay for a quick weekend stay

My stay was okay for the fact I had to stay there while my bathroom was getting worked on. I left a day early! Even through I prepaid through the app on the 5th they charged my card twice after I checked out first time for the amount of 151 and some change they void the charge but on the 7th I work up to a charge of 275 and some change! I called front desk to see about changes and the front desk was rude and unknowledgeable about my situation and proceeded to tell me to wait for the GM to see what was going on!….I found that to be unprofessional, very rude and disrespectful to charge my card three times and no help from the company even when I was physically there and I had called to see about this
