From the past reviews i guess was not expecting much. My wife booked a room for August 15th. Check in was fast. I went to use our bathroom and looked at the tub(gross, looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks) i took a finger nail to see if was dirt or stains ,it was dirt. I told my wife maybe we should buy some cleaner and show their staff how to clean. Neither of use used the shower. Will say the lady that was in charge of breakfast did an awesome job keeping things full and tables clean, she was a very hard worker. Maybe she can teach maids how to clean.

After staying at this location this past weekend, I would encourage everyone to drive the extra 30 minutes to Lafayette for overnight stays. While the hotel is outdated and could be cleaner, the bigger issue is that one of the two rooms we reserved had freon leaking from the air conditioner. The room smelled strongly after the A/C was turned on and the carpet became wet near the window. I didn’t feel safe having my children or mom sleep in the room. Once we figured out the problem, we reported it to the front desk. Our party moved into the second room we had booked because we were informed the hotel was full for the evening after requesting a new room, and we requested a refund for the other room. We were assured our situation was documented and management would reach out.
The front desk staff came to the room with me to verify the smell and wet carpet. No maintenance staff or manager was available for support. The next morning we were told to call on the following Monday to speak to the manager. After doing so, we were told our options are to be charged double for the room we slept in because we moved a fourth person into it since the other was uninhabitable, that we should have been charged more anyway because that room had a pull out couch. (We just went to the room we were assigned?), that we should have asked for a new room - we did and they were sold out, and that no refund would be processed.
This combined with flickering bathroom lights in the room we did stay in, elevator with food on the floor from the time checked in until checkout the next day, brown spots on our sheets that the front desk did kindly swap out for us, and general condition of the building, I can’t recommend anyone stay here. You can spend the same amount for better management and room conditions a short drive away.

Stayed at this hotel because we didn't want to stay on the camp grounds. Overall room cleanliness and service delivery need significant improvement before my next stay:
Room Cleanliness: When I arrived, the coffee pot was dirty and required calling housekeeping. There were ants along the window sill, and built-up dirt and trash were left on the carpet around the bed.
Linens: Small hairs were embedded in the bath towels, forcing me to buy my own towels from Walmart.
Service: When replacement towels were requested, I explicitly asked that they be left on the dresser near the door as I was heading out, but housekeeping failed to follow these instructions.
I would recommend ensuring thorough pre-arrival room inspections and clear communication with staff regarding basic guest requests would make for a much better experience.
I stayed in this hotel in the beginning of June, my husband wanted a hot tub room and this was the only hotel that offered that, as were were excited about our little get away to see the Batman Museum in Logansport and visit Indiana Beach- this was a great location. To our sadness the hot tub was closed for repair in the pool area (which is ok as we had one in our room), but I wanted to take a look at the pool area to potentially go swimming, nope, it really needs some maintenance, the paint was peeling from the suspended ceiling grids, the ceiling tiles were bulging from the humidity and did not have any air flow and the chlorine was VERY strong. The people at the desk were very pleasant. Our room was large and although outdated, "appeared" to be clean. However, I was incredibly disappointed to say the least that I brought some "little friends" home with me, which will now cost me around $1200.00 to get taken care of. I did send an email to the corporate office, but I have never received any acknowledgement.

Very clean, comfortable beds, hot breakfast, and great coffee, what more could I want!?! Well they have a nice pool and hot tub with a dry heat sauna, there is a full weight room, amazing cardio room and my daughter really enjoyed the "women's only" fitness area with an entire array of machines and mats to stretch and workout away from the guys lifting free weights and using the machines in the main gym. The staff was very nice and helpful they have on site washer and dryer so it was easy to dry the swimwear and we were only a few minutes away from a great sushi restaurant, Walmart, and a variety of fast food. There are some nice walking trails nearby and Indiana Beach is straight up the road.
