My stay last week was deeply disappointing, largely due to staff that seemed entirely untrained and unprofessional. The air conditioning in my room didn’t work, leaving the space uncomfortably hot and humid since it was 90+ degrees outside. When I reported the issue, the employees showed a complete lack of urgency, offering no more than a fan. To make matters worse, I was repeatedly yelled at by a staff member and told to find another place to stay simply for asking for a basic resolution. Having to pack up and deal with that level of hostility mid-trip was completely unacceptable. Overall, the lack of basic competence and customer service made for a miserable experience, and I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for accommodations. I stayed here along with several others in different rooms for a softball tournament. Nobody’s ice machine worked and the hotel had one ice machine behind the front counter. Anybody that complained after trying several times to get the ice machines to work were made to feel stupid for not figuring it out. I overheard guests I didn’t know complaining about their AC as well. This place is clearly run down and management and ownership has little interest in fixing anything.

We stayed here during the week of a World Series softball tournament. It was a nice touch that they had a welcome sign for all of the girls participating, and we thought that was a really thoughtful way to welcome everyone. Unfortunately, that was probably the best part of our stay. The first room we were given was filthy. The floors were sticky, there were splatters on the refrigerator, dog hair on the bed frame, stained towels, and the recliner was ripped and covered in stains. Then I looked under the bed and found a pair of dirty men’s Nike shoes. I went to the front desk to ask for another room. The woman working kept telling me they were completely booked and basically couldn’t move rooms. She never apologized or acknowledged how unacceptable the condition of the room was. It wasn’t until I told her I wasn’t going back into that room and that something needed to be done that she found another room. The second room was a single-bed suite instead of the double-bed suite originally booked, which honestly wasn’t a problem. At that point, I just wanted a clean room. When asked if the rate would be adjusted since we were moving into a smaller room, she said the single-bed suite is “always more expensive.” That didn’t really make sense to me because when I checked the hotel’s website afterward, the single-bed suite was actually listed for less than the double-bed suite. The second room was better than the first, but it still had plenty of issues. The stove was missing a knob, there was no soap or paper towels, the carpet and recliner both had large stains, there was a piece of food left on the floor with ants all around it, and the towels in the bathroom were stained. Another thing that made us uncomfortable was that the hotel appeared to be housing people experiencing homelessness. I have no issue with that, but as an out-of-town family, it was uncomfortable checking in and out while groups of people were hanging around the parking lot and front entrance waiting for rooms. It just wasn’t something expected. One thing I did appreciate was the free guest laundry. During a week-long softball tournament, that was really convenient. You just have to bring your own detergent. Overall, I was really disappointed, not just with how dirty the rooms were, but with how the situation was handled. Finding someone else’s shoes under the bed is honestly unacceptable, and there wasn’t even a simple apology or any effort to make things right. Knowing this hotel was hosting multiple softball teams that week, I expected much better. If something as obvious as a pair of shoes under the bed was missed, it really makes me wonder how thoroughly these rooms are cleaned between guests. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again.

If you are not a diamond member with them, they could cancel your reservation at last minute causing your whole family to not have anywhere to stay. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from this hotel

Def one of the worst hotels we have stayed a night in! The room was really dirty and smelly. We checkout the next morning and went to a different hotel

I really have no complaints. Room was a good size for one person with, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. If I did have one comment, there was not a microwave in our room nor was the fridge working; but I did not need either. Everything else was pretty good.
