- LMlarry mickelsonOct 8, 20261.0So I had the presidential suite. Paid for a nice vacation. Yes the room was nice but the outside door stuck, the walls had cracks in them. Food was left from someone else in the refrigerator, the coffee table had food residue on it as well as sticky. My wife made us go to Walmart to get cleaning supplies and gloves to clean the room. All in all its a B level hotel. But no bugs

- IIITEOTWAWKIAIFFSep 30, 20262.0When I arrived, the girl didn’t even greet me. She seemed annoyed to be there. The young man helping her seemed eager to help but didn’t really know what to do and the girl didn’t say a word to him either. The shower was not even close to being good. The shower doors would not slide. The bathroom door would not close. The water pressure was weak. They didn’t have any laundry detergent and I was told to go buy it at Walmart. It was late and I was ready to be off the road. Breakfast was good though. But that’s not enough to get me to stay again. HIE had been my go to when traveling but this trip has changed that. I stayed in Clinton Texas and now in Carrollton Kentucky and none of them have impressed me. Quite the opposite.
- CHChris HollandSep 10, 20262.0Reserved a room for 9/10-9/13 all the way back on January 19th. Upon check-in, I was told that the room I reserved was no longer available and they put me in a smaller room. I asked how that was possible considering how far in advance I had made the reservation, but the person working the desk had no answers. Considering it was an event weekend and other hotels were sold out by this point, I had no choice other than accepting the room. Rock hard bed and bathroom linens that feel like sandpaper. The hotel itself is merely decent, but not on par with the many other Holiday Inn Express properties I've stayed at before. Dirty and more warm than comfortable hallways. Easily the worst IHG property I have stayed at.
- BVBecky VoelzSep 10, 20265.0Team members were very nice. I frequently travel to Madison but had never stayed at Holiday Inn Express. This has become my preferred place to stay.
