  I booked a mobility-accessible room with a roll-in shower due to being one week post–major hip surgery. After driving 11 hours to attend my husband’s graduation, we arrived to find that the room assigned to us was a hearing-accessible room instead, with no roll-in shower. When my husband spoke to the front desk, we were told that the correct room had already been given to other guests earlier in the day and that nothing could be done. That response is completely unacceptable. Accessibility accommodations are not optional or interchangeable—they are a medical necessity. Reassigning a mobility-accessible room to another guest and leaving someone recovering from surgery without required safety features shows a serious failure in both planning and responsibility. It is also unacceptable that no one contacted us in advance to inform us of this issue. Had we been notified before arrival, we would have had the opportunity to make alternative arrangements and book a hotel that could actually meet my medical needs. Instead, we were left with no options after an exhausting 11-hour drive. The room we were given is not safe or appropriate for my condition. It lacks even basic features such as grab bars, making normal use of the bathroom difficult and potentially dangerous. After reviewing other guest feedback, it is clear this is an ongoing issue. While mistakes with standard room preferences may happen, failing to honor confirmed accessibility accommodations is a critical lapse that should never occur. This reflects a disregard for the needs and safety of guests with disabilities. Additionally, the bathroom floors were visibly dirty with noticeable spots, which only added to the poor experience. This situation requires immediate attention. I expect management to address this failure, provide a suitable solution, and take concrete steps to ensure that accessible rooms are reserved and protected for guests who actually require them.

  Clean friendly..pool cold n pool shower and bathroom have no hot water. Coffee maker in room leaked everywhere and stove did not work

  The place is very nice and clean. We got free supper and breakfast. Staying again next week.

  Husbands company uses this hotel often. He raves about Chris and Patty! They always welcome them with a smile and make sure they are well fed before work.
