  Girl at the front desk told me they were sold out of doubles and quoted me $80 more than if I booked on priceline. So I booked on priceline, got my double room, and saved $80.

  Common areas were nice. Room was ok except that carpet was filthy, trash had not been emptied, and shower floor was slippery.

  The hotel is ok but expensive for what you get. The shower head is pretty rough and the shower stall looks like it hasn't been replaced in decades. It got the job done but I expect more for the price. Maybe this isn't the hotel's fault, but on Google maps this place claims a pool, which is why I booked it. The staff later told me the pool was shut down several years ago. That's disappointing, especially considering other places do have pools. One other annoyance while I'm at it, the air conditioning doesn't seem to allow adjustment. It's either frosty the snowman or unplugged, despite having access to the control panel. Amusingly, the white bed cover had several large pubes on it when I arrived, too. If I needed an emergency descent rope I'm pretty sure I could have braided them together for that.

  Lost trust on the first night when I found someone else’s pubic hairs on the fresh towels that came with the room. I asked for fresh towels in the morning, but not replaced until late in the afternoon. Breakfast not included. 1.5 star Breakfast buffet is $15 per person and they offer what would usually come for free at other hotels like this one. The highlight is supposed to be their biscuits and gravy according to the signs. I couldn’t make it past one bite. $30 for two people gets you instant coffee and sausages that taste like they were boiled in water. Looks like I’ll have to be searching for breakfast now for the rest of the stay. I will say the lady that serves tables in the morning was very nice. The location of this hotel is convenient not far from Purdue university. The only issue around this area is that there’s limited parking at almost every restaurant you want to go to including this hotel. Good news is that if the hotel parking lot which is quite small fills up, you can park in a parking garage across the street and just have to work to get your ticket validated.

  The bathrooms were just absolutely the worst I've actually ever seen in a hotel. AC didn't work in half of the rooms. It was really upsetting to hear that I brought my entire wedding party and guests to this hotel which was the most expensive hotel in town. They received a $10 discount and were then charged $15 for breakfast yet had we not included anyone in our group they would've received complimentary breakfast... And actually saved $5. We switched rooms due to the first one having this thick yellow goo all over the bathroom walls only to be moved to a room that was full of mold. My wedding guests all are leaving with awful headaches and allergy issues from the mold in the hotel. It's not just unclean. It's completely false advertisement on the room photos and it's a literal health hazard. Guests who stayed at Days Inn for 45$ had larger, clean, nice rooms. I am actually embarrassed that I actually brought 10 guests to this hotel and every person had AC issues, or the rooms were musty moldy and obviously never actually cleaned. Those of us who stayed 2 nights didn't get our rooms cleaned, no new towels, or trash removed any of the basic turn over you'd expect while you're out of the room and then we all have correctly decided to check out and go to another hotel for the rest of our stay this week. We will never use Holiday Inn again after this. The standards have clearly gone down and I have absolutely no idea how they are maintaining 3 stars. Embarrassing really. The staff was all very polite though.
