  After 1 night of my 2 night stay I must say its been a positive experience overall. The hotel is a little worn and dated but the location downtown, spacious rooms, and spacious shower make up for being a little dated. The guy at the front desk was friendly checking me in. Lots of little bars, restaurants, and even some shops are all within easy walking distance. Its a very easy drive to Purdue or the Fairgrounds too. Highly recommend.

  Beds are super comfy. Very quiet, parking gets filled up at night but there is street parking till morning if it does.

  This was one of the dirtiest hotels I have stayed in for a very long time. The hotel is clearly old and very tired, with worn and peeling surfaces throughout, but I can overlook an outdated property if it is clean. This was not. When I arrived, there was still rubbish from the previous guests on the floor of my room, including toothpicks, hair, and, most disgustingly, used contact lenses. The bathroom had also clearly not been cleaned properly. Housekeeping did not improve during my stay. The bathroom was never properly cleaned, the bins were not emptied, and as far as I could tell, housekeeping did little beyond making the bed and replacing the towels. The corridor also had a strange, stale smell and felt poorly ventilated. The air-conditioning unit in the room was so old and incredibly noisy that I eventually had to switch it off. Overall, the entire place felt neglected and, frankly, unpleasant to stay in. To give credit where it is due, the staff at reception were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent for what I needed during my business trip. Unfortunately, neither of those things can compensate for such poor standards of cleanliness and maintenance. I don't expect every hotel to be new or luxurious, but I do expect a clean room and bathroom. That is the absolute minimum. I would not stay here again.

  I gave a 4 star only bc it needs up keep and cleaned on the outside. Room was great, clean, updated, great water pressure, breakfast was the normal hotel breakfast. Service was very friendly

  We never had room service the 5 days we were here and we literally had to call them to empty out the trash and give us new towels. They never once did the bed or changed the sheets during our stay. When asked for pillows they gave it to us without the covers just the bare pillow and I bet it’s absolutely nasty. Also found various food items from the last people who lived here which shows how much they actually clean the rooms. It also can be loud at night and walls can be thin. I can literally hear other showers going as well as random voices and drill noises late into the night?? Also breakfast looks like slop go to any other local restaurant around instead. Heads up there’s no complimentary water at all in the rooms and for the price you think they would at least have some! Beware you might slip in the bathtub since it’s so slippery and have nothing to grab onto because guess what the bars are broken and nasty too.
