- MPMichelle PierceJun 17, 20262.0Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly. The hotel smelled good and all seemed well at first. It did throw me off about the random $40 I had to pay, but it was refundable so it wasn’t a huge deal. Next, I got to my room and it was so humid and uncomfortable in there. I turned on the AC and the noise from that AC was horrendous to sleep with for 4 nights. The showers have almost no hot water so I could only take cold showers. The shower head was also barely taller than me, and I’m only 5’5”. The shower head was also rusty and gross The room also had smelled like smoke… and I was on a non-smoking floor. The parking lot is also small, so being a woman surrounded by men at a hotel by herself - I had to park in the back which made me feel unsafe most of the time. The only good thing about this place was the service at the front desk. Otherwise, I was seriously disappointed and don’t understand how it has such high ratings on certain travel websites.

We had issues with a 3rd party booking app booking the wrong dates, and even though we weren't able to change the booking date, we still stayed the night we arrived regardless. They both did absolutely everything in their power to help us out. Such kind folks, aswell as the woman who checked me out the next morning. (I'm sorry, I didn't see your nametag!) Amazing value for the price, you get so much more bang for your buck. The rooms are small, but practically spotless. The small size is a bonus, as it makes the room easier to cool and heat, along with making it feel cozier. The beds are comfortable, and you just sink into the pillows; so so soft. One of the best sleeps I've had at a hotel. The choice of channels on the TV are diverse, showers are spacious; you're provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and water pressure is good. The pool wasn't available the night we stayed, but we were offered to swim in the pool of the other partnered hotels. The advertised Fox's Pizza Den is the BOMB. Beats pizza hut and pizza king by a long shot! It's also right around the corner from the hotel. The parking lot was pretty confusing to get to as someone who doesn't know Lafayette well, so make sure you have the exact location plugged into your GPS and keep on the look out for the turns, or else you might get lost.
