- AGAndrea GerigJun 29, 20261.0Upon arrival for check-in, I was told that Booking.com messed up the dates for booking, had to call booking.com while standing at the counter. They were quick to let me know that they would refund booking.com, and rebook through them. This saves them the cost of booking.com. I don't entirely believe that it was booking.com's issue. I wonder if they just told me that... there was no proof shown of wrong dates. We got 2 rooms. At first, they gave us keys to another person's room. We walked in and saw all things in the room and turned around and went straight back down to the front desk. They then changed our second room to another room. All together it took us a little over an hour to get checked in after messing with the wrong room, and non-working keys. Bathroom was dirty, hair everywhere and weird stains everywhere. The bed covers had stains all over them. The shampoo bottles are .75 Oz, with only 2 in our rooms of 3 people in each room. There was no body wash, only bar soap. During the mid-morning on our first morning, one of our rooms lost a whole wall of electricity. They told us it was the city, not them. This included the AC in our 2 rooms... if you look below you will see that after they told us that all of that was out because of the city, they were outside working on the AC unit 🤔. The elevator went out as well during the stay. Breakfast was not great, except the waffles we made for ourselves. They had refrigerated carafes of milk, instead of cartons. The only good thing about this hotel from our experience,was the NesCafe coffee machine in the breakfast area which you can use anytime, and the Keurig in each room with decent K-cups. I would never recommend this to anyone else, and I definitely will not be repeating this stay.
