A little older, really small eating area for breakfast, close to shopping and dining. Not beautiful on the outside but ok for a one night stay.

I have stayed at this IHG location in the past and previously left a positive review, so it is disappointing to say that my recent experience in Room 228 was the complete opposite. There were several issues with the room. The toilet would not flush, the television had a line running across the center of the screen, and we found ants in the room. The air conditioning unit also did not work properly, leaving the room very humid. In addition, the hallway had a strong musty, mildew-like smell. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable, and we did get a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was the worst I have ever had at an IHG property. We ate breakfast around 7:30 a.m., yet the food was cold and undercooked, and the biscuits were stale. The breakfast area was also very dirty and clearly had not been properly cleaned. Both trash cans were overflowing with trash. The coffee bar area was a disaster. There were multiple employees available, but most appeared to be sitting on their phones rather than addressing the condition of the breakfast area or assisting guests. The most disappointing part of the entire stay was speaking with the front office manager that morning about the condition of our room. After explaining the problems we had experienced, her response was simply, "Sorry, there's nothing we can do." I understand that problems can occasionally occur at any hotel, but what matters is how those problems are addressed. Unfortunately, both the condition of the room and the lack of response from management fell far below the standards I have come to expect from IHG. I previously had a positive experience at this location, which makes this recent stay especially disappointing. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and addresses the maintenance, cleanliness, breakfast quality, and customer service issues.

I really didn’t have an issue with this hotel until I looked in the mini fridge and saw and opened beer and another unopened beer. It really just makes me wonder what other housekeeping things were glossed over. Was the bed really fresh and changed since the last guest, or was it just made up? Were the towels really swapped out, or did they just use the same ones that looked u touched? These kinds of things make me wanna choose a different property next time I’m in the area. Also, the toilet was broken and didn’t flush. Just unacceptable things in a HIE.

I've stayed here before and had a great experience. This time was subpar and a disappointment. The hand soap and body wash in my room were empty, several power outlets didn't work, light bulbs were out. Just not to the standard that Holiday Inn has come to mean.
