  I really didn’t have an issue with this hotel until I looked in the mini fridge and saw and opened beer and another unopened beer. It really just makes me wonder what other housekeeping things were glossed over. Was the bed really fresh and changed since the last guest, or was it just made up? Were the towels really swapped out, or did they just use the same ones that looked u touched? These kinds of things make me wanna choose a different property next time I’m in the area. Also, the toilet was broken and didn’t flush. Just unacceptable things in a HIE.

  I've stayed here before and had a great experience. This time was subpar and a disappointment. The hand soap and body wash in my room were empty, several power outlets didn't work, light bulbs were out. Just not to the standard that Holiday Inn has come to mean.

  I love never having to really search for an IHG hotel, which means they are usually near a main street or expressway. That comes with some sacrifice regarding quiet. Thats okay, but my room,426, was off a street during construction. Couldn't be helped. I didnt know if the rooms toward the front were available but it would be the kind of service we would hope for as weary travelers. I am not a fan of rooms where the sink is outside the bathroom. Traveling alone, not a huge deal but if you are traveling w someone the light over the sink is assuredly going to disturb the room. Good space in the room otherwise...the usb ports around the room worked. Good lighting and temperature control Also good water pressure in the sink, shower and toilet! No hope for a relaxing bath. While I dont swim, the pool looked unappealing and there was not a lot of space for breakfast. The coffee station was somewhat unappealing also. We know splashes will happen and many people will not clean up after themselves, but that awareness should prompt additional attention. Was an overwhelmingly average stay that served its purpose.... thank you IHG. You will continue to be my brand.

  Exceptional staff, I really can't over state this. REALLY good staff! The rooms are clean and maintained..the continental breakfast is better than you might expect. The price is a bit high for being in such a small town with little attractions but since they are the 3rd largest city in the state, I guess they think it's justified. Still better than being downtown with all that goes on down there. Restaurants, fast food, and movie theater within walking distance. I definitely recommend this place if you're passing by and need a rest.

  Having extended family on the west side of Evansville, this Holiday Inn Express is our "go to" place to stay. It has never disappointed us. We have been coming here for years and the place is always clean, affordable, and you won't find a friendlier or more helpful staff. Whether we were here for weddings, funerals, birthdays, or just family gatherings, the staff is always ready to help with your stay. Catie at the front desk is terrific. She is the best front desk clerk you could ever want. Our entire family readily recommends this hotel for anyone coming to Evansville.
