  Would not recommend Haynie Travel at all. Had a vacation planned to the big island of Hawaii, a few weeks before we were scheduled to leave a hurricane hit the island. I emailed Robert Haynie to make sure we were still going to be able to go. His response was yes, I checked with a representative from the resort and they said everything was fine and that it hit the opposite side of the island from where we were staying. When got there everything that we wanted to do we couldn’t because they were closed due to storm damage. Couldn’t go to any beaches or parks. This was after we got nailed with $875 worth of resort fees and parking fees that we didn’t budget for. He never really kept us up to date on our trip once it was paid in full, as a matter of fact I had to email him the day before we left just to get a printed copy of our itinerary. Then to top it off when it was time to come home we almost couldn’t get on our flight because he forgot to put my birthdate in for the return flight paperwork. Had to call the airline to get it straightened out. Definitely will not be using Robert Haynie or Haynie Travel again.

  Our family, as well as our family business has used Haynie Travel for over 30 years. They are knowledgeable and so helpful when putting together a trip for family or a personalized itinerary for Europe. So dependable!   Great experience! Originally booked a trip to NYC pre-pandemic and had to cancel. Bob and his team were wonderful in helping us plan and book a vacation to Alaska instead last year in the summer of 2021! We had an amazing time and greatly appreciated all the follow up and assistance we got to ensure the trip went well. I’ll definitely be using Haynie Travel again in the future!
