  This was my first time staying at candlewood suites in Elkhart, but it was a amazing experience. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The check i process was simple and easy. I met Crystal at the check in desk and she was amazing. Im a travel nurse and i stay at many hotels and she made me feel so welcomed. She is a valuable employee. Thanks for the nice stay hope to stay again.

  Just to update I’ve been checked out of this room for two days and looked at my bank account and they charged me another $460 and have no idea why they done it… just for fun I guess this whole hotel is simply a scam. If you’re needing to stay more than a few nights whatever you do don’t stay here. They’ll lie about the days you’ve paid for. Randomly like to charge you then when you ask why they tell you they don’t see it on they’re end but moments later tell you that something is going on in town so they have to charge you more after you’ve already paid for your stay. Then moving forward wants to charge you triple per night than what they was charging you before. The worst staff I’ve ever had to deal with they want to try to make every dollar off you that they can but as soon as you need something from them it’s a probably like actually getting the room cleaned. I was there over two weeks I begged for the room to get cleaned they cleaned it once and left me one towel and one wash cloth. When I checked in the stopper in the sink was broken and wouldn’t open no matter what I done I asked the front desk to have someone come up and fix it 4 days in a row because I had no other option to but to use the sink so the water was gathering. Instead of having someone come in at a normal time they send someone late at night while I was getting in bed for the night the guy is beating the sink to death for about 45 minutes. The whole experience was bad enough with everything that I went through that when I was checking out a new girl that I guess just started working there was checking me out and I was explaining everything to her and even she admitted she wouldn’t have stayed and the room wasn’t worth the money they was wanting to charge me and that even she would have lost her mind over the unexplained charges. Hopefully someone takes my advice and skips this place.

  AVOID!!!! Hotel canceled reservation with zero notice or phone call. Family was stranded. Front desk person was the most rude, miserable, unhelpful person. Should not be in customer service. Horrible!!!

  This was my first travel assignment for my job and they booked this hotel, I want to say this is 10/10 highly recommended. I had the queen size suites with a kitchenette. It was very clean and I literally have no complaints at all besides they don’t serve breakfast but they do have coffee and drinks in the lobby area to purchase for a reasonable price. There was an older lady, Nancy, she was very patient with me while checking in. We had a little bump in the road while checking in but it got resolved! I hope they book this hotel for me again!!! Also they are close by food and things to do.
