- LDLovely DayAug 11, 20265.0This was the best worry free stay I have had in a while. The staff were amazing and very welcoming. My room passed all of my clean standards tests including the black light test. I will be back to this area soon and will rebook here.

Room was clean, when refillable soap and shampoo are mounted to the wall they also need a good wipe down on the edges and in the corners.

- RBRon BeckJul 20, 20261.0Our stay was extremely disappointing. The floors were dirty, and after walking around the room for a short time, the bottoms of our feet were black from the dirt. The biggest issue was the roaches. We saw roaches crawling on the desk and even on the bathroom mirror while my wife was brushing her teeth. This was completely unacceptable and made us question the cleanliness of the entire room. I reported these issues to the front desk when we checked out. The staff apologized and said someone from the hotel would contact me, but I have never received a call or any follow-up. The lack of concern after reporting such serious cleanliness issues was just as disappointing as the condition of the room itself. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to both the hotel's cleanliness and its customer service.

I’m accustomed to Holiday Inn Express and Avid but assumed Candlewood would be okay. I found an ant in my bed quite alive. Towels were the color of “I’ve given up”…soap and shampoo caddies trying to fall off the wall. First room had not been cleaned, second room had no AC so I accepted the third room even though it was not much better and smelled like a damp ashtray sprayed with Flora Lysol…The front desk clerk tried hard to find a decent room but it must just be really hard to do at this property. I also found a piece of dog kibble on my carpet which told me that there is no vacuuming between guests. Just Gross. Skip it …camping would be cleaner. …
