    I have been trying to reach the hotel management for over 3 days now and I have also reached out to IHG corporate and they have tried to contact hotel management as well about an issue and no one has returned my calls or emails. I am in Customer Service and this is not how customers should be treated! Very disappointed.

    Very disappointed with my experience at Candlewood Suites in Bloomingdale. I stayed Friday night and checked out Saturday morning. I had my personal digital weight scale with me while I was at the hotel. When I checked out and left the hotel Saturday morning, I no longer had it. I am 100% certain I did not have it after leaving the hotel. The following day, when I realized I was missing it, I immediately contacted the hotel and asked them to check the room and lost-and-found. I was simply told that nothing was found. What bothers me most is that I know I had the scale with me at the hotel, and it was gone when I left. I expected the hotel to take this situation more seriously and make a thorough effort to look into it. I am posting this review because I would like management to contact me directly and properly investigate what happened. I would much rather resolve this privately than leave a negative review, but I expect the hotel to take responsibility for addressing the situation. Management, please contact me. I would appreciate a call and a proper resolution

    The staff here are just fantastic. Morning, evening, and night. Shout out to Jeff for being warm, friendly and welcoming. The room is very well planned out. The kitchenette was super useful and well stocked with plates and bowls. This is ran like a weekly rental. You don't get daily turndown service. I knew this going in and was not at all bothered. You just need to do your dishes and make up the bed. They do clean once a week and if you really want a cleaning or fresh towels they will get that for you. Summer rates in Bloomington are very family friendly and it's close to great restaurants and fun attractions/state parks. A kitchenette is a great amenity for leftover pizzas and the needed kid snacks like pizza rolls. As soon as the owners get the pool completely renovated, this will be a fantastic summer spot while the college students are away. I have zero complaints, they made this Karen happy.
