- SCSean ConoverAug 10, 20261.0My wife and I had an upcoming reservation as our daughter is starting her first semester at IU. We had to change our travel plans and my wife contacted the hotel for a refund as we were more than seven days out from our reservation and within the full refund guidelines. The desk agent said no as my wife got IHG on a three way call. Even the IHG agent said it is available for a full refund the desk agent kept arguing and refused. The hotel manager was involved and my wife was told a credit would happen upon his/her return on Monday. But before then the hotel manager was very “Colonel Mustard” like circling his/her wagons around the desk clerk. Monday came after 10am central time and of course my wife had to reach out to the hotel. I guess this hotel manager and desk clerk are used to being nasty and defensive. Not once was any communication to the desk clerk and/or manager in email threatening but yet they take things to the wrong level. Hey Holiday Inn Bedford there ARE other places for guests to stay! I will give it to IHG for following up on Monday before my wife emailed the hotel. Now IHG understands customer service….Bedford you should read a page or two on customer service!
- NNNomesJul 31, 20264.0Seems to be a new trend with my staying at a HIE and finding leftovers from the previous guest. This time there was a bottle of frozen or game soda in my mini fridge. Honestly no big deal but makes you wonder just a bit what else did house keeping miss. Checkin was a breeze. Flashed my ID and I was in. Room was ok, I don’t need much. Had a bit of a funk, almost like cigarettes I’m gonna be a Karen for a moment and say I wish they policed their parking a little better. When the giant truck takes up two spots and backs the bed into the side entrance. But more on the truck than the establishment
