  Weirdly located in an area being redeveloped. So, ugly surroundings. The TV and remote are clumsy to operate. FS1 channel wasn't avaliable so we had to watch the NLCS basegame on my laptop computer. The water lines to the shower are installed backwards. You go to cold to get hot water. No hot tub in the pool area. The room has an odor resembling a dead mouse. We would NOT stay here again.

  It was great , sad thing is, the water didn't get hot enough in the shower 😢 , but other than the water , it's a great place to stay

  We booked a room with two beds and a pull out sofa as we had 3 kids and two adults, we even called ahead to let them know we wouldn't be in till late and they said that was fine, we get there and they had given all the rooms with two beds away leaving us to get one bed for 5 people and a pull out couch that was just terrible on top of this there was no bath tub like they said in the description so with a one year old that made keeping him clean difficult and the AC barely worked. We asked for a refund or something for this and was denied because apparently a one bed is more expensive than two beds like we had made a reservation for. Overall not happy with their service what so ever!

  This hotel is really clean, and the breakfast is much better than what most other hotels offer. Out of all the Holiday Inn hotels I have stayed at, I would rank this one among the top three in terms of cleanliness and how well-maintained the rooms are. The entire hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well-kept. I stayed here for four days and had such a comfortable and relaxing experience that I am already thinking about coming back next time. I had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed my time here. Highly recommended! The Best Holiday Inn Express & Suites Avon Ever!

  Decent. Usual over priced 80 or 90 dollar room for 160 a night. New. Clean. Friendly staff. Asked for rooms near each other, she said, they are on the same floor. One the last room on one end and the other the last room on the other end. We have different definitions of near. Bathroom wallpaper peeling away, warm water but not hot in shower, and shower door trim coming off. Breakfast okay but in the last 30.minutes no longer stocked. Average stay.
