  We stayed here for one night. It was quickly obvious that this hotel's biggest weakness was cleanliness. One of the housekeeping staff didn't come to work that day, so there were not enough people to clean rooms. The room we received appeared to only have sheets changed out and trash cans emptied. If we had known it was going to be that disgusting, we would have gone down the street to the Hampton. Honestly, I wish the front desk person had told us, "Sorry, we don't have adequate staff today to ensure all rooms are clean. Can I cancel your reservation with no penalty so you can find another place?" That would have been better than giving us a dirty room. We didn't bother asking to change rooms because the situation was the same. It's not like anyone was available to clean them. We have family in this area and will have to come back and stay at hotels in the future. We will give this hotel one more try, but odds are, we will ultimately stay at the Hampton moving forward. I wish IHG built additional hotels in this area so we had more options.
