Staff was great, room was perfect for my needs and the rate was reasonable. My only issue, which I forgot to mention at the desk at checkout, was there were a few ants in the room on night one. It was maybe half a dozen on the floor, but I cleaned them up and never saw any again. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. Great water pressure in my room and no issues with temp like others have mentioned. Altogether, a good experience for my first trip to the Chicago area.

I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, and this one stands out — unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons. The room was not clean and had a stale smell, like it hadn’t been properly refreshed in a while. I even noticed a few spiders, which is never reassuring. The shower pressure was extremely weak, the sink drained slowly, and the coffee maker looked so outdated that I didn’t feel comfortable using it. The bed was usable, but even that didn’t feel particularly clean or inviting. What really didn’t make sense was the checkout policy. Checkout is at noon, which is actually a great perk — one of the better ones I’ve seen. But housekeeping started knocking loudly on doors at 8:30 AM — every single room. I checked in late, around 11 PM, and was exhausted, so being woken up that early completely defeated the purpose of a later checkout time. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Management really needs to address both cleanliness and guest experience. Future guests might want to adjust their expectations before arriving.

Stayed one night and that was more than enough. The room was flat-out dirty — dust, grime, and multiple spiders, which tells you everything about how often it actually gets cleaned. The smell hit me as soon as I walked in, like it hadn’t been aired out in weeks. Shower pressure was weak, the sink drained poorly, and the coffee maker looked like it hadn’t been replaced since the 90s — I wouldn’t touch it. Even the bed felt questionable. I’ll give them one thing: checkout is at noon, which is a genuinely nice perk that not every hotel offers. But here’s the catch — housekeeping starts banging on every single door at 8:30 AM. I was dead asleep and got knocked on at 8:30. If checkout is noon, why are you waking people up three and a half hours early? Defeats the whole purpose. Checked in at 11 PM exhausted and didn’t bother complaining — just wanted sleep. Future guests, consider yourself warned.

This hotel needs a major facelift. The rooms are very old and stinky, bedding was questionably clean, potential mold in bathroom, pool was closed, multiple guests showered with cold water.
