The hotel is very clean, and overall the staff are friendly, professional, and do their jobs very well. The housekeeping team, in particular, were very polite, respectful, and did an excellent job throughout my stay.
I do want to mention one experience that I believe could be improved. I had run out of cups in my room for the coffee machine, so I went to the front desk and asked for an empty cup. The front desk employee told me they had run out of cups there and suggested that I take one from the kitchen/coffee area.
When I went there and picked up an empty cup, a male staff member working in the bar/kitchen area during the morning shift, wearing a black T-shirt and black pants/jeans, immediately said something like, “That’s $2.65 or something like that” with a facial expression and tone that made me feel like he assumed I was trying to take coffee without paying. I had not touched any coffee or tried to take anything for free—I was only getting an empty cup, exactly as the front desk had instructed me.
After I explained the situation, he apologized, and I appreciated that. I even offered to pay for the empty cup, but he told me not to worry about it. I understand that misunderstandings can happen anywhere, but the initial approach and tone could have been much friendlier and less assuming. Not everyone is trying to get something for free. I paid a lot for my stay, and if something has a cost, I’m always happy to pay for it—I’m not someone who expects free things.
Other than this experience, my stay has been good overall, and I appreciate the hard work of the rest of the staff.

My mom and I stayed here for a single night and felt the warmth of the staff hospitality.
The rooms were clean and on the odd-number side, the view is calming with a human-made lake.
Dev, the assistant manager, was so kind and welcoming to us upon check-in! He was smiling, helpful, and even generously gave us a voucher for breakfast the following morning.
We got settled into our room and felt right at home. We brought in takeout dinner and forgot to get silverware and plates, but when I ran down to the lobby, Dev immediate halted in his work to get us those items to use!
Later in the evening, trying to locate a garbage can for our pizza box, Harshil was at the front desk for the next shift. He was so gentle in spirit and sweet to help us find a trash bin with a large enough opening for the bulky box! He was there the next morning, still, and greeted us with a sincere smile and checked in about the stay.
The gym space is open with several cardio machines and weights, two benches and a pull-down machine. It’s clean and well lit.
Our breakfast, treated by Dev, was tasty. Maybe it was busy behind the scenes because the service was fairly slow, despite us being the only customers, and it was difficult to gain attention there, but the dishes themselves were delightful.
Overall, the experience was wonderful. The front desk staff was so, so professional and caring. The housekeeping staff was sweet and do a great job in having clean, organized rooms for guests. We would recommend highly!

Second night here out of 3. Supposed to be non-smoking and the whole first floor smells like someone smoking weed. Can smell it in my room and all down the hallway. Called the front desk and let someone know and no one answers the phone. Won't be staying here in the future.

Sammi at the front desk was a wonderful hostess and really helped us out. A big thank you to the staff for making our stay enjoyable.
One small hiccup, not a big deal but there is sometimes coffee in the lobby, but you have to pay for it. Many hotels in this price range and genre offer complementary coffee in the lobby. However at this Holiday Inn, the restaurant is a separately owned and operated entity. Therefore you pay for coffee.
They do have free coffee in your room, that you can make.
Like I said no big deal.
The rooms and common areas were clean and bright. The restaurant had a decent selection of food & drinks. And there is a little cantina for packaged food and sundries.
Oh, there are a ton of restaurants within walking distance. Like a lot.
Check out the Tinley Park Holiday Inn, it's clean and cozy.

Renovated 3 years ago. Clean, modern, friendly staff, food was good and good value, everything felt brand new, comfortable room. Would recommend and would stay again. We ate dinner and breakfast. Even though breakfast is not included what we ordered was fresh and good, as was the food at dinner.
