Went to check in and literally stood there in front of a the man working 5.17.26 at 4:30 pm and he was too busy on his phone to acknowledge me. That was the first strike. The room bed was very hard. Toilet was awful it literally took two flushes to get anything down. The ac in the room didn’t work. Strike 2 Breakfast was the only positive thing I can say. Strike 3 the app refused to let me check out I had to go to the front desk and deal with a black woman with a bad attitude. This franchise owner needs to retrain his staff!!!

Staff was friendly. Lobby area was clean. Room had a few issues. Bathtub drain was super slow so at the end of your shower, water was over my ankles. The coffee maker in the room didn't work at all. The floor lamp was getting power via an extension cord plugged in across the room. The coffee in the breakfast room was excellent. All of the hot food was hot except for the sausage gravy, which was barely warm. This is probably the lowest review I have ever given a HIX.

Started off with the front desk guy not being there when I pulled up for 25 mins and stated there was a sign. Room was crappy at best... AC was hanging off the wall. Tub barely drains. Bed hard as a rock. Says it has a pool but that is flame advertisement. Pool is at the hotel next door. Says to go to hotel next door for bar and food. But hotel next door has the same issues with service people being there.

Went to check in and nobody was at the desk, waited and got rude service after "interrupting" his dinner break. Overpriced menu for food, AC wasnt properly screwed on right, no vent in the bathroom, old tv with no remote found, tub wasnt properly draining after shower. No staff at the bar or resturant at the sister location yet it was operational hours.

This is NOT what I expected from a HOLIDAY INN. We were in town for a convention. The guy at the front desk was very nice, but when we got to our room, we found way too many problems with it to stay. We checked out immediately but are still receiving texts as though we are checked in. The room was had was very small. One of the drawers on the cabinetry would NOT close and stuck out into the room, which is a hazard for guest's shins. Then we opened the curtains to find the massive wall of Crown Plaza's air conditioning units was our view. The small room was very stuffy, so we tried to turn down the air conditioning, since we couldn't open a window. We discovered it was set as low as it would go- 72 degrees. Then my kid noticed a MOTION SENSOR with a wire going behind a grate in the room. It would blink every time we moved. It was labeled "a\c sensor". First of all- we're just supposed to TRUST that it's a sensor and not a camera of any kind?? But even if it's not a camera, they have it set so that the air conditioning turns off if you aren't moving enough?? HOW STINGY CAN YOU GET?? Not only will it not go below 72, but it's going to turn off all together if we happened to sleep very still? NOT HOSPITABLE at all! Flat out CHEAP, in fact. Not what I expected from a HOLIDAY INN. That's the kind of "quality" I expect from a Motel X, not a Holiday Inn. But the most concerning part was that there were plastic bags over the sprinklers in our room. We did not put them there, obviously. We assume the previous guests put them there, but somehow, housekeeping didn't see them, which is VERY CONCERNING. It means the room was either not cleaned or the housekeeping staff is not very thorough in their jobs. It was actually the fist thing I noticed when we entered the room. I went down to the main desk immediately and told them about it. They were sending maintenance up to remove them, but then we noticed the supposed "a/c sensor" and decided that was one too many issues with the room to bother staying.
