  It was a great place for the kids. I did buy the tickets in advance, and my company has a discount for this place so it was a plus. There really wasn’t a wait since the tickets is time specific, I would recommend going to the earlier slots, and it get crowded later in the day. I can’t speak for end of the day, but it was a great place for kids. And of course, a Lego store in the end. You don’t need a ticket if you only want to check or buy something at the store.

  It was packed like crazy, but my dad and me made it through. We didn't go all the way in, we just were shopping. This is the best place to take your child if you live near Illinois or if you live in Northwestern Indiana. Le-La the giraffe wanted to take a picture.

  We didn’t actually get to go IN because I was unaware that you need a child with you… which is mainly why I’m writing this review because I didn’t see anything about this rule online before we went and I’m hoping this helps people who are planning. We tried to go for my birthday because I love legos and had never been there. The staff was super nice though and let us know their rules before we managed to buy tickets from the kiosk. Looking forward to going back once my kiddo is old enough to enjoy it!

  The LEGOLAND experience was wonderful! There was no wait, which made the visit smooth and enjoyable. The kids had a great time and really enjoyed all of the exhibits and activities. I also appreciated that teachers can receive free admission when reserving tickets online. The only downside was that the online connection was terrible and made purchasing/reserving the tickets more difficult than it needed to be. Overall, it was a fun, family-friendly experience, and the kids had an amazing time!

  I’m extremely disappointed with the birthday party experience at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago located in Schumburg. I was not aware that parents/adults attending the birthday party would also have to pay the full admission price. This resulted in a significant and unexpected additional cost. On top of that, the birthday party package is way too pricey for what you actually get. When you add the cost of admission for both children and adults, the total becomes very expensive for a children’s birthday party. I understand that LEGOLAND has its policies, but I believe the requirement for parents/adults to pay should be made much more obvious during the booking process. If you are considering having a birthday party here, please ask about the total cost, including admission for all adults, before booking. I’m sharing this review because I wish I had known beforehand. I hope other parents can avoid the same surprise and make an informed decision before spending this much on a birthday party.
