  My flight was canceled, so I booked a room here at the last minute. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and got me checked in quickly. The affordable airport shuttle was very convenient, and they even gave me a complimentary late checkout because of my flight issue. Excellent hospitality—this is the best hotel near O’Hare Airport!

  Amazing experience! The room rates were very reasonable and offered great value for the money. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with a great variety, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and peaceful, and the staff provided exceptional service. Excellent value and hospitality—I would definitely stay here again!

  We spent the night here due to unexpected travel delays. We were pleasantly surprised by the room--clean and reasonably appointed. However, we were very disappointed in the staff and management of this hotel. First, we were told the airport shuttle cost $20 each way (this was also the amount listed on our reservation confirmation). When we arrived at the hotel, we were told it was $30 each way. Since there was a long line of displaced travelers behind us, we paid $60 and booked the 6am shuttle. At 4:30am, the front desk called us to let us know the 6am shuttle had been canceled. When we checked out, I let the woman at the front desk know we didn't appreciate being woken up at 4:30am for something that could have waited until at least 5:30am. She laughed it off, apologized, and said the driver was unreliable--which tells me this is a known issue the hotel isn't addressing. Then, when we asked for a refund, she told us she would have to talk to a manager later and our refund would be processed within 2-3 business days. She volunteered that the shuttle cost $20 each way, pointed to the shuttle log which stated $20 each way, and then when we confirmed we would receive a refund of $40 since we had overpaid, backtracked and said the shuttle was $30 each way. After two weeks, I called the hotel to request the refund again since it never showed up on our card. After speaking to the manager, the front desk told me that they wouldn't reimburse us since we didn't book the hotel directly with them. I told him that we had paid for the shuttle at the front desk and regardless were owed a refund since they canceled the shuttle. I finally received a call from the manager who asked me to start from the beginning, and then said that she would "trust me that we only used the shuttle one way since she had no way to confirm"...as if she was doing me a favor instead of keeping track of their own shuttle schedule. We did finally receive a refund of $30 but find the entire situation to be highly unprofessional and predatory. Note that the hotel is also quite a distance from the airport, despite its name.

  I am giving one star because I have to, we came to the room with dirty sheets and food in the fridge, bathroom sink didnt look like it had been washed down. The biggest problem is we asked to talk to a manger and they said they relayed the message but couldnt get ahold of her because it was morning. We stayed for 3 days, we cannot sit for the manager while were out of town. They should be happy to help. For 2 days you cant get us a manager for the buisness? Its a hotel, they should always be on call. Edit: (I did not book the hotel it was our boss) After reviewing other customers issues, as a Best Western, I would be embarrassed to be associated with them. They dont care about their customers and only want money. Its actually incredibly shocking they are still in business, or atleast havnt even attempted to fix their many issues. Definitely reconsidering Best Western in general. We will be continuing with corprate about our issue.

  I had a weird experience. I had a family emergency and had to leave in the middle of the night. The staff was extremely strange towards me- I was nearly out the front doors and the woman at the desk asked if I needed help and acted like I was crazy. I told her I don't need help and I already checked out online and she kept insisting and it felt like she was trying to prevent me from leaving. I clarified maam I have a family emergency I need to go and she put her hands up like woooah ok ok. Weird as hell. You can check out on the phone so... don't bother guests. Leave people alone. If I don't ask for your help I don't want it, let people leave.
