  If you, like me, are thinking of choosing this hotel because of the free shuttle, please don’t. I’m disappointed by the service at this Best Western. For context, we were at O’Hare for a layover when our flight was delayed overnight. Our airline gave us a voucher to be used at one of three hotels and this Best Western (BW) was one of them. We chose to go with BW over a more prestigious brand solely based on their advertisement of a free shuttle. Unfortunately, little did we know that their shuttle service runs irregularly what seems like every 2 hours, making it super inconvenient for travelers. To get to the hotel from O’Hare at 12:30am, the shuttle got full and left without us. The front desk informed us we had to wait almost an hour for the next one. After a long travel day full of delays we opted to use a ride share instead. To get to the airport, we had to choose between being extremely early (almost 4 hours) or risk missing our flight, because their shuttles don’t leave every hour. On top of that, the room wasn’t as clean as I would expect from a BW property and the common areas (hallways, elevators) were deteriorated. The breakfast was subpar. The one positive aspect is that the bed was comfortable and I did get good sleep. All in all, if I’d known their shuttle service is so inefficient that i would end up taking a rideshare at almost 1am to get to the hotel anyway, I would’ve gone with the better hotel brand.

  Flight cancelled and AA put me up in this hotel. Service was fine. Room smelled badly of mildew. Slept 5 hours. After my trip I got a really bad sinus infection. I can't say for sure but I wonder if it was related to mold inhalation in the smelly room. Would definitely have just slept in the airport terminal if I could do this over again. (If employee of Best Western Schaumburg is reading this, I think it was room 306 with the issue. Clean the air conditioner and ensure the condensation drain isn't clogged keeping things damp.)

  You can put lipstick on this pig but it’s just a prettier looking pig. This place is a semi-remodeled, mold smelling dive hotel. Breakfast was terrible at best, Apple juice dispenser was leaking I went to front desk to notify them and the guy was rude and gave me attitude, a simple thank you would have been nice.

  They only have one shuttle to the airport and it takes forever if it shows up at all.

  Great location and nice area. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms are nice looking but were a little bit dirty. The elevators are really spread apart. They ran out of pretty much everything at breakfast and it was a weekday so I wouldn’t expect it was overly busy compared to the weekend. Pretty good price and value overall.
