  Great stay! Rooms were clean. Beds were so comfortable. Staff was very welcoming. Only issue was the ac didn’t really cool off the room.

  We stay at Holiday Inn pretty regularly so we are very familiar with the Holiday Inn standards, I expect a 5 ⭐️ at Holiday Inn as a standard. What made me write this review has NOTHING to do with the basic standards of Holiday Inn. What impressed me and my family was a Lady at the front Desk named Sandy Hapke!! Sandy's genuine companion ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+, Sandy's care of her costumers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ Sandy's professionalism ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ Sandy's old fashioned costumer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ .. Sandy treated us like family in our brief interactions!! She treated us like there was no one else in that building!! A lost quality in hospitality!! Who ever is in upper Management at Salem Illinois should be recognizing Sandy for allll she is doing for you when you AREN'T LOOKING!!

  Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. Employees were nice. We enjoyed our stay. There are great dining options close by like the Village Garden that is within a block of the hotel.

  Nice hotel, beds were very comfortable, breakfast was really good, as expected. Staff was great and dog friendly. The only con was the low water pressure in the shower
