  Hotel is completely shutdown, doors are locked, you're welcome to try calling them but nobody will pickup. I received absolutely no warning via email or phone call. Best Western corporate needs to step in immediately, this is a guaranteed class action lawsuit.

  Booked this hotel months ago and received **no notice whatsoever** that the hotel was closed until we arrived at the hotel for check in and found that the hotel was closed. Our reservation never got cancelled so we found out literally in the empty parking lot of the building. Everywhere else was booked or out of our budget leaving us to scramble late night to find another option. If you booked this hotel for the near future double check that the reservation is valid.

  I wish I could give negative stars. This hotel accepted our booking months ago, took our money, and was CLOSED when we showed up. The person who answered when we called said they are “doing renovations” yet our reservation was never cancelled. Several hotels close by were all sold out and this left us hanging late at night. Could not recommend less!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

  Way to ruin a vacation, BW! 24 hours before a scheduled stay, 5/1- 5/3, the hotel calls me to say they can't honor the reservation because their building is under renovation. This is a reservation I made 2 months ago! And then when I called the corporate number, not only did they refuse to help me find another hotel (other than give the phone number for a couple other BW's in the Chicago area), they wouldn't offer any financial assistance or compensation for my troubles. Then they told me that the hotel reported that *I* had cancelled the reservation! If BW wants me to reserve with them again, they better show me they care, because right now I'm a *severely* disappointed rewards member.

  The hotel canceled my reservation a week prior to my trip due to renovations. While I understand the renovations are necessary for maintenance, what is unacceptable is being notified about something a week before I was supposed to check in for an event with no assistance on finding an alternative place to stay. Something as important as a hotel wide renovation ought to be prior knowledge for all hotel staff and this lack of communication and respect towards their customers is a gross display of neglect and incompetence and I am disappointed. Again, if I was given more than a weeks notice of my reservation canceling this would have been less of an issue.
