  This is our second time using Holiday Inn Express Romeoville. We drove in from central Minnesota to see family in the Orland Park area. We love how clean the rooms are, and how welcoming the staff is. My daughter is in a wheelchair and the accessible room is awesome. We had a slight delay getting into our room as it wasn’t ready at 3pm. Because of the 1 1/2 hour delay, we were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge, which was wonderful. The continental breakfast was delicious and fresh, and fresh brewed coffee SO GOOD. We will continue to use this lovely hotel each time we visit!

  The hotel is in a great location off of 55. While it is clean it is in need of many updates to the booths in the dining area (seating) and wallpaper and some of the rooms can use some updates as well. For what the rates where I would've chosen a different hotel that weekend however I am loyal to them ....

  We stayed 2 days there due power loss on plainfield, on the second day morning the fire alarm went on we thought it was a test till we saw the fire department arrive, we waited to be notified from the front desk NEVER happened we saw a firefighter walking he told us we should evacuate we told him we had a disabled person in a wheelchair, he told us to stay in the room as the elevator was down, and management would let's us about the situation NEVER HAPPEN, after 1hr a firefighter let us know everything is OK, we call the front desk to ask for the elevator they said still down, we waited, we call again and one was working, we checked out we ask about what happened, the girl upfront said we can't give information to third party 🙄...

  On arriving this hotel to check in for a reservation I made from 05/24 through 05/29 I was told I have to pay $25 mandatory deposit which was supposed to be refunded. Today is 06/20 and I am yet to get a refund of that $25 after room check was confirmed ok. I made several calls to customer service and I was told the refund will be released but got nothing. I printed my bank statement to double check yet no refund from Holiday inn. I am so disappointed and this is unfair. Please kindly look into this and issue my refund back.
